It was like seeing the only female in the whole world for Pentious, like his synapses just clicked.

The snake winner looked so fundamentally similar to him just smaller and almost certainly a hognose. She seemed a bit clumsy and not used to her tail half. He helped her to balance and held her tenderly,

"Good grace your new hehe. It took me a while too darling."

He played with her hair trying to be appealing to her just quietly playing with her hair. She found it a bit annoying and rolled her eyes, to which he crumble,

"Dammit- Please please please your really pretty just let me date you!"

The pathetic display was a little cute to her suddenly to her mild horror.

So the two went on a date in a flowery field made exclusively for frolicking, Pentious mainly coaxed his date to scare couples nearby with him just being two nuisances.

ELLIOT HI. I WATCHED EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE............... IM so shaken I nearly cried 3 times and fully cried once. everything about it was just perfect so perfect everything I love about art and movies and people and life was shoved into this one delicious beautiful genius movie and I already want to immediately rewatch it . I don't know how to go forward after watching it I want to go frolicking in a field and I want to kiss a thousand people and bake cookies and learn a martial art and go swimming in the February sea......... so crazy it was so wonderful it was everything everyone said it would be and more. Crazy. okay ill try not to go insane in your inbox from movie induced epiphanies but yeah basically I'm so glad I finally watched it it was literally. So wonderful

ETHAN HI NO PLEASE GO INSANE IN MY INBOX ABOUT THIS MOVIE i genuinely love it so much and i am soooo happy that you love it too! yes this movie makes me cry every single time, i saw it the first time in a super small movie theatre with my two best friends and we were SOBBING in the back corner while everyone else seemed totally fine about it but okay maybe it is because all three of us have mommy issues but eh it was just, that movie is just so. I MEAN WHEN JOBU TUPAKI READIES HERSELF TO FIGHT BUT EVELYN OPENS HER ARMS TO HUG HER WHO WOULDN'T CRY AT THAT HELLO anyway i am normal about this movie (i am not) my friends and i spent like fifteen minutes after watching it the cinema's bathroom trying to compose ourselves we were fine.

anyway i am so happy you've seen it and can also revel in the joy (hehe) of that movie. i hope you to are not normal about bagels anymore. i hope you too were amazed at all the colours and the unique humour and different universes and the epic fight scenes. i will learn martial arts with you together i have an urge and i will join you to the beach and hold out so many towels when you return from the freezing february sea ily <33

Recently played Paradigm Paradox and I'm afraid I have. A lot of thoughts. And I need to talk about it because WTF did I play?? Spoilers! (duh)

Overall Thoughts (SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT FR FR)

All I can say is. What a weird game. The tone is so off. The background music never fits what's happening on screen (character: talking about how he had been experimented on without his consent. the music: hehe frolicking in the fields~). The pacing is INCREDIBLY off. The characters. Just don't act normal? It's SO weird. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where you transform into magical girls to kill monsters, but the twist is that the monsters started off as humans. There’s a lot of heavy topics discussed like human experimentation, forced imprisonment, brainwashing, child abuse, authoritarianism, government cover ups, but none of it is handled very well. It doesn’t get the depth or time it deserves, and it’s more so a backdrop for the “love” story lines, which honestly are not that great either. Then in the final route you find out about ANOTHER plot twist that doesn’t get time to sink in, and neither was it foreshadowed or hinted at on any other route. Every route is very short, and I don't know if that’s a good thing or not because on one hand they could have improved the story lines with more time, but also, being short is one of its only redeeming qualities because at least it goes so quick. That’s mitigated by the fact there are EIGHT routes to get through. Holy shit. The only other redeeming quality is Kamui<3 because all the other love interests SUCK or are mediocre at best. Also the most disappointing part was Ryou, I was so excited for him and then. It’s just a grown ass 26 yr old man flirting with a 16 yr old high schooler…..my guy … what are you doin….

Individual Short Reviews

Kamui my shining beacon of hope in this stupid game. Genuinely a good story line about a people-pleasing character who tries to sacrifice himself to keep everyone else safe. (Mayhaps I cried)

Ibuki this is an interesting case of where even the writers had no idea what personality they wanted this character to have. So every scene, they have a different personality and motivations. I was so interested to know about their motivations, and just. Got nothing? Go girl, give us nothing!

Yukinami I was so excited to have a yandere route and then it.. just wasn't yandere enough? Idk it just didn't hit. I chalked a lot of plot holes to it being the 2nd route I played but in hindsight, none of the plotholes were retroactively fixed. it was not great.

Hyuga 1st route I played and I was so disappointed. There is a serious problem with how his route is written and he does not make choices that make sense for his character.

Mihaya the plot about his parents and how he overcomes his anxieties surrounding death was interesting, but could have been explored more imo

Tokio I have no feelings about him. Like I understand the trope they are trying to hit, but the transition from the misunderstanding to him being in love wasn't believable at all

Ryou get out of here weirdo. flirt with people in your own age range

Ayumu is on my shitlist fr fr. Straight up in last place in the last tier on my otome ml ranking list. Out of every ml I've ever encountered. Ticks literally every box for everything I hate in a character.
