Stripped (Part 6)
Pairing: Bucky x Reader Word Count: 2435 Warnings: Language, attempted sexual assault, violence
Summary: You are a SHIELD agent working undercover in a strip club whose owner is involved with organized crime. When you find out he might be in talks with HYDRA Bucky is brought in to help.
PART 5 | STRIPPED MASTERLIST
The minute you arrive at the club Vito informs you that Anthony wants to see you. You head upstairs to his office. He greets you without acknowledging the bandage on your cheek, the result of his hands on you. He smiles handing you a pile of clothing and a pair of shoes, a “special request” from Nicholai he said. He tosses them to you as he walks towards the bar behind you, pouring himself a drink as he discusses your job tonight, make Nicholai happy.
You spot his phone unattended on the desk. He is thankfully distracted and so you quickly grab the phone and shove it in between the fabric of the clothes. Anthony tells you to come back upstairs once you’ve finished getting ready. Your heart is racing but you hope your nerves don’t give you away. You smile and head to the locker room. Charlene unexpectedly threw her arms around you causing Anthony’s phone to almost slip out of your grasp.
“I did it!” she exclaims. “I passed! Dr. Lewis is here for her patients!” You carefully put down the clothes and hugged her back. “Charlene I’m so happy for you. I knew you could do it!”
She continues to celebrate as and the other girls get dressed. You snuck Anthony’s phone out and went to the bathroom to go through it. You read through his texts and emails. It wasn’t easy to find. When you found the information you needed it felt like the weight of the world was lifted from your shoulders. You texted Director Hill, SHIELD and Bucky with the location. East docks, Pier 6. Now SHIELD can reroute all of the agents to the proper location. You trust that everyone can take it from here. Now that you found the information you don’t need to be here.
You pop out of the bathroom and run into what feels like a brick wall. Vito is standing in front of you. You stumble backwards, holding Anthony’s phone behind your back as you slip it into your back pocket.
“You’re not dressed yet?” he asks. “No I just got down here,” you snap. “Well get going Val, Anthony wants to see you before Nicholai shows up,” he said gesturing you to hurry up.
Vito leaves and you let out a huge breath. Getting out is not going to be easy. You change into the outfit you were given, an ice blue pleated skirt with a small matching thong, a tie-front crop top with rhinestone trimmed sleeves that barely covers a rhinestone bra, sparkly silver thigh high fishnets and silver Mary Janes. At least the shoes were a reasonable height; easier to run in, you thought.
You touch up your makeup trying to stall and think of ways to get out. You cut up a glitter pasty into a smaller heart, gluing it on to cover your bandaid. You grab your bag, double checking that your phone and gun are in it and head out of the locker room.
You hope to make it to the side door, tell Joseph that Anthony lost his phone and needs everyone upstairs and then get out of there as fast as possible. You make it past Vito who seems occupied watching Mikiko dance. You pass by your regular patrons sitting at the bar, each of them stopping you to tell you how sexy you look. Their loud enthusiasm caused Vito to turn around and spot you.
He asked you what you were doing and you quickly lied saying you didn’t want your regulars to feel left out tonight. He pulls your arm towards the staircase but you protest. You claim you want to set up the room first, that you have some special things in your bag for Nicholai (if he only knew). Vito huffs in frustration but leads you towards Danny.
You walk through the curtain past Danny, past the room you were supposed to go to in search of an exit. You found none. You go into the large room. It has the same rosey walls as the smaller rooms, same white leather couch but on the opposite wall was a full sized bed covered in black satin sheets flanked by two small side tables.
You open one drawer to find condoms, lube, handcuffs, a whip, and a ball gag!? Oh hell no. You place your gun under the bed and check your phone for updates from anyone before placing it in the drawer. You hide Anthony’s phone in your bra and you begrudgingly head upstairs.
You present yourself to Anthony who looks at you up and down and smirks.
“Tonight is a good night,” he boasts. He turns around briefly and you slip his phone back on his desk under some papers. “Fix you a drink?” you ask, trying to distract him in case he heard the sound of papers rustling.
He nods and you head to the bar. Nicholai walks in a few minutes later and you can’t hide your displeasure. You choke on the scent of his cologne. Anthony tells you to make Nicholai a drink. You make something extra strong and curse yourself that you didn’t have anything you could slip into it. You hand him the drink and he pulls you down into his lap. Nicholai throws Anthony a small bag, he peaks his head in and smiles.
He nods towards Nicholai and both men get up. Nicholai grabs you by the arm but before he leads you downstairs Anthony whispers in your ear, “Don’t disappoint me.”
Danny pulls back the curtain allowing you and Nicholai to walk past him. You open the door and hope that Vito hadn’t come in afterwards and snooped around. Nicholai goes to kiss you and you pull away.
“Good. I like a challenge,” he says, taking a sip of his drink. “Dance for me.” You dance slowly, drawing out every move while you try to buy yourself time for a plan. They only way out is the side or front door, and in either case you would have to get past large security guards. That’s if you make it past Danny and Vito first.
Nicholai motions for you to give him a lap dance. You do so with zero enthusiasm. You back off when you feel his erection through his jeans. He fists the back your hair in a tight ball with one hand and squeezes your face with the other, pulling you in for a sloppy wet kiss. Disgusted, you try to fuse your lips shut.
He unbuckles his belt and slides his pants down. He grabs your hand and forces you to touch his erection, asking if you like that. Your head is turned, eyes shut tight as you hold back tears. He pushes you off of him, stepping out of his pants and walks towards the side table. He started to go for the table with your phone in it but you stopped him. He opened the other drawer and his eyes lit up. He pulled out the handcuffs and walked towards you.
He tells you to take off his shirt. You slowly unbutton it revealing a hairy distended belly. He pulls at the knot of your top and it comes undone. He forcefully grabs your arms and handcuffs them in front of you. You wince as he secures them tightly, the metal digging into your wrists. Nicholai throws you onto the bed. He looks at you like a man starved, anxious to devour you. He climbs on top of the bed towards you but you kick your legs at him, kicking him in the balls. He holds his crotch but manages to still climb on top of you. You bring your arms up to try and punch him but he holds them over your head. You struggle but can’t free yourself.
You feel him reach under your skirt, tugging on the thong to come off. You’re squirming and screaming, still trying to loosen your arms. You’re able to break free of his hold and you slam your fists down onto his head. He curses back at you and starts to choke you.
“I’ll fuck you dead or alive bitch!”
You struggle to breathe trying desperately to get him to release his hold on your throat. You pretend to be unconscious in the hope that he stops. Your plan worked. Nicholai runs his hands through his hair and catches his breath. He kneels on the edge of the bed hooking his fingers in the waistband of his boxers to pull them down. In that moment you brought your knees to your chest and kicked him with all your strength. He flew backwards onto the floor. You wiggled to your side and got off the bed, dropping to the floor quickly to get your gun from under the bed.
Nicholai grabs your legs and pulls you back before you can get the gun. He rummages through his pants and pulls out a knife. You wiggle forward towards the bed. You cry out as you feel a stinging sensation on the back of your thigh, feeling the blood seep in between the netted fabric of your stockings and your skin.
Nicholai climbs on top of you. You groan under the weight of his heavy body, still struggling to move. Anthony bursts into the room fuming mad. He orders Nicholai to get up.
“What happened Nicholai? You guaranteed me safe delivery.” “The fuck are you talking about?” Nicholai said catching his breath. “SHIELD took Krasnov. They took the shipment. They took my guns!” he screamed. “I don’t like liars Nicholai. Liars have to pay.”
Anthony looks over and sees you on the floor. He balls his hands into a tight fist when he sees the crimson stain down your leg.
“And this is how you treat my girl?” he remarked. The men were distracted during the argument which allowed you to reach under the bed for the gun. You stand up, using the side table for balance and point the gun towards the men.
“I am not your girl. Both of you, on your knees now!” Anthony takes a step towards you, “who the fuck do you think you are?”
You cock the gun showing him that you mean business. In that moment the sound of gunshots and screams can be heard throughout the club. Anthony bolts out of the room but Nicholai charges towards you with his knife. You fire the gun, shooting him in the shoulder. He screams but it does not stop him from collapsing on top of you. The force of his body causes you to drop your gun and you hit the back of your head on the side table before landing on the floor.
You groan and struggle to get him off of you. You catch the crazed look in his eyes before he brings his fist down to your cheek. He gets off of you but grabs a handful of your hair and forces you up, pushing your body onto the bed. He growls as he presses his hand to his shoulder. He’s bleeding but does not care. He gets on the bed, turning you onto your side. He lifts up your skirt and grabs the material of your thong.
Suddenly a gunshot is heard. Nicholai’s lifeless body collapses beside you. You turn around and your face relaxes as you set your gaze upon Bucky. He pulls you off the bed.
“Y/N are you hurt? Did he hurt you?!”
You reply telling him you’re alright. He sees your hands are bound. Using his metal hand he breaks the links between the cuffs. He examines the tight metal around your wrist. He squeezes his metal digit in between the cuff and your skin. It really hurts and you know you’re going to bruise from the pinching but he’s able to break it off of you. You drape your arms over him for a quick hug.
Picking up your crop top from the floor, you have Bucky tear the fabric and tie it around your thigh. You put on Nicholai’s shirt. It’s big on you and his lingering scent makes you nauseous but it’s your only option since you’d rather not be running around in a bra. You grab your gun and tell Bucky to follow you upstairs.
You make your way through the club. Bucky blocks your body from gunfire with his own. You keep your gaze focused on any potential threats ahead of you. You both safely make it to the staircase. Quietly creeping up the stairs you see Anthony hunched down pulling money out of a safe. Vito stands in front of him.
The creaking of the top step gave you away and Vito looks up at you. Vito charges like a bull towards Bucky. Anthony spots you and quickly draws his gun. You duck behind the bar and clench your burning arm, the bullet having grazed you. The thumb sized wound was bleeding profusely. The sound of Bucky and Vito still fighting drew your mind away from your pain.
Anthony was still firing, his footsteps were getting closer. You noticed he was focusing his shooting towards the center of the bar. You crawled towards the end of the bar. Taking a chance that he would be focused on the middle you slowly snuck around to the corner of the bar. You aimed your gun and quickly shot him in his foot. Anthony screamed and fell to the ground, dropping his gun in the process. You got up and kicked it away. You grabbed a bottle of liquor and smashed it over his head knocking him out.
Bucky got up having taken down Vito. He walks towards you. You’re both startled by the stampede of people that come up the stairs. Luckily it was SHIELD. You try to slow your breathing as you come off your adrenaline high, leaning on Anthony’s desk because you feel slightly dizzy. You watch as your fellow SHIELD agents handcuff Anthony & Vito and take them downstairs.
Bucky wraps his arms around you in a hug. His hand cradled your head and you winced. He backed off and saw fresh blood on his hands. He looked at you with concern as he and saw the sweat glistening on your face. He grabbed your hand which felt clammy.
“Y/N?”
You heard him call your name but nothing else. Your ears were clogged. You stand up from the desk but your vision gets spotty.
“Buck…”
Bucky catches your body in his arms and gently lays you down before calling for help.

ENGIE and partners PCL Construction and Black & McDonald awarded 35-year energy efficiency contract with the Government of Canada in the National Capital Region has been published on Energy Solutions News
New Post has been published on https://www.energybrokers.co.uk/news/thoughts/engie-and-partners-pcl-construction-and-black-mcdonald-awarded-35-year-energy-efficiency-contract-with-the-government-of-canada-in-the-national-capital-region
ENGIE and partners PCL Construction and Black & McDonald awarded 35-year energy efficiency contract with the Government of Canada in the National Capital Region
Innovate Energy won a 35-year public-private partnership to deliver and modernize heating and cooling systems for Government buildings in Ottawa
This partnership illustrates ENGIE’s strategy to lead the zero-carbon transition with pioneering energy efficiency client solutions.
Innovate Energy, a consortium consisting of ENGIE, PCL Construction and Black & McDonald, has won a 35-year public-private partnership contract to modernize, maintain and operate the district energy system that heats 80 buildings and cools 67 buildings, including the Parliament Buildings, in Canada’s Capital Region (Ottawa-Gatineau). This mandate is part of the Government of Canada’s Energy Services Acquisition Program and it will contribute to the Government’s goal to reduce its energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from operations by 40% by 2030.
Innovate Energy was selected because of its unique capacity to deliver an innovative approach to modernizing the district energy system. The project includes making the existing heating system safer and less energy-consuming by converting it from steam to hot water; upgrading existing facilities in Ottawa and Gatineau, including the strategic and visible Cliff plant which services the Parliament buildings, and switching from steam to electric chillers.
From 2019 to 2025, Innovate Energy partners will design, build and convert the existing high temperature steam system to a more energy-efficient low temperature hot water system while continuing to provide heating and cooling by operating the existing facilities. The conversion will facilitate the eventual adoption of more sustainable types of fuels. Once the construction and validation periods are completed, ENGIE will operate and maintain the new system through to 2055.
“We are proud to partner with the Government of Canada and help reduce its energy consumption and associated greenhouse gas emissions. This 35-year comprehensive contract illustrates ENGIE’s ability to manage complex energy systems over the long-term while providing continuous pioneering innovative client solutions. This project is a great illustration of the Group’s strategy to lead the zero-carbon transition.” said Isabelle Kocher, ENGIE CEO.
ENGIE is a world leader in the operation of district heating and cooling systems. The Group operates more than 320 district heating and cooling networks in 20 countries including the UK, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, the U.S., Portugal, Malaysia, the Philippines and in the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The Group is convinced that helping its customers reduce energy consumption is a key factor in leading the zero-carbon energy transition. Two thirds of its 160,000 employees are dedicated to providing comprehensive and long-term energy efficiency solutions for its clients worldwide every day.
In Canada, ENGIE has been offering a range of clean energy and services since 1992. ENGIE operates more than 800 MW of electricity generation facilities in the provinces of Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Ontario, and British Columbia, fueled primarily by wind and solar energy, in addition to a facility fueled by natural gas. The Group is also a leading provider of facility management and energy services for customers comprising commercial real estate, government installations, hospitals, industrial operations, and airports.

Juggernaut Index, No. 24: As Trubisky goes, so go the Bears

If Mitchell Trubisky can make a leap in his second season, the Chicago Bears offense can get fun in a hurry. (AP Photo/Charles Rex Arbogast)
The Chicago Bears have won nine league championships and 749 regular season games since the franchise was founded in 1920. Twenty-seven former Bears are enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and 69 have been selected as first-team All-Pros. The names of the greatest players in team history — Payton, Sayers, Butkus, Nagurski — are synonymous with excellence at their respective positions.
And yet somehow, as this franchise enters its 99th season, the Bears’ all-time leading passer is Jay Christopher Cutler.
[Yahoo Fantasy Football leagues are open: Sign up now for free!]
In fact, Cutler holds pretty much every significant career Chicago Bears record at the game’s most important position, including passing yardage, completions, passer rating, completion percentage and touchdowns. Remarkably, no quarterback in the history of this franchise has managed to throw for 4000 yards in a single season. Erik Kramer’s 3838 yards back in 1995 remains the team’s top mark. Jacksonville, Carolina and Tampa Bay have all had multiple 4000-yard passers while Chicago is still waiting for its first.
The Bears finished last in the NFL in passing last year and 30th in total offense, so things can only get better under the team’s new head coach. Matt Nagy arrives in Chicago after spending the previous decade climbing the coaching hierarchy under Andy Reid, first in Philadelphia and then in Kansas City. Nagy served as offensive coordinator of the league’s sixth highest-scoring offense last season, plus he oversaw the mid-career breakout performance of Alex Smith. There’s plenty to like in his coaching record. Nagy quickly hired former University of Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich as his OC, which adds another layer of fun.
When the Nagy/Helfrich offense is fully operational for Chicago, things should get legitimately interesting. It’s not crazy to think this team’s second-year quarterback has the potential to deliver the most productive passing season in team history, finally dislodging Kramer from the record book. Cutler’s career marks should not survive Mitchell Trubisky’s second contract.
Trubisky is guaranteed to make a substantial leap in 2018
It feels relatively safe to predict a Trubisky surge, because the team asked so little of him last season. We would say that John Fox and his staff kept training wheels on the offense, but that’s an insult to all the brave kids out there riding big-boy bikes with extra wheels for safety. At least those kids are moving forward. Chicago’s offense was basically inert in 2017. Trubisky ranked dead-last in the NFL among qualified starters in both deep attempts per game (2.5) and air yards (98.2) according to Player Profiler. This offense took no shots and gained nothing.
Whatever else happens this year, Trubisky and friends will definitely play a more entertaining game:
#Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky with us on @SiriusXMNFL now: “We’re going to spread the field and definitely use all our weapons.” Will see things from Matt Nagy’s #Chiefs days, have “twists and tricks” from Mark Helfrich/Oregon, mix in some tempo … more complex than he’s used to.
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) July 2, 2018
Nagy was a big believer in Trubisky’s talent during the pre-draft process two years ago, and, by all accounts, the pair has clicked this offseason. Concepts and formations should feel similar to the QB’s college offense, and the system should generally take advantage of his live arm and dual-threat ability. Nagy has indicated the playbook will be 70-80 percent similar to what KC ran last year, with a few added flourishes. It was clear enough last season, despite the timidity of Chicago’s offense, that Trubisky has the necessary physical traits to thrive as a pro. His receiving corps is suddenly loaded with versatile athletes, too. Trubisky is essentially free in fantasy drafts (ADP 164.1, QB24). He’s worth targeting in super-flex and best-ball formats.
Let’s try to remember, however, that year-to-year continuity is critical to success in the NFL, and Chicago has none of it. That’s a small concern. This team has a first-year head coach working with a second-year QB, installing a new scheme. Every key member of the receiving corps is new. Bears fans and fantasy owners will need to be patient with this group. We should expect hiccups in the opening weeks.
OK, let’s meet the new receivers
Chicago revamped its receiving depth chart in a massive (and necessary) way during the offseason, both via free agency and the draft. The team gave a total of $61 million guaranteed to three veteran pass-catchers, then invested a second-round pick in a young receiver. We can safely ignore roster holdovers like Kevin White and Josh Bellamy in fantasy drafts. The new guys are clearly going to dominate the targets in this offense.
Allen Robinson inked a three-year deal with Chicago back in March, and he’ll be 12 months removed from his ACL injury when the season opens. Robinson was able to put in work during OTAs and appears on schedule for training camp. There’s been zero negative news on him, only negative spin from a few fantasy voices. At Robinson’s best, he’s a true No. 1 wideout with terrific red-zone skills, a player with ideal size (6-foot-3) and leaping ability. He was enormously productive at the collegiate level and he produced an 80-1400-14 line in his second pro season. Robinson’s efficiency plummeted in his third year (73-883-6 on 151 targets), but disentangling his performance from the horrors of Blake Bortles is no simple thing.
Robinson is a serious talent with an excellent history, and it’s reasonable to expect 75 receptions and 1100 yards in a healthy season. His draft price (ADP 47.1, WR19) reflects our collective optimism about this team’s offense, tempered by the expected ACL recovery worries. If camp reports on Robinson are positive, there’s a decent chance his ADP will climb 3-4 spots.

Trey Burton is the sleeper TE you need, fantasy owner. (AP Photo/Charles Rex Arbogast)
Trey Burton landed with the Bears on a four-year, $32 million contract, and it kinda feels like we can pencil his name into the Pro Bowl roster right now. Assuming Trubisky achieves a reasonable degree of competence this season, Burton should feast. He’ll play a version of the tight end/wide receiver hybrid role that helped turn Travis Kelce into a star for the Chiefs. To be clear, Burton doesn’t have Kelce’s size or his exact athletic profile, but he has good hands and 4.6-speed. He’s a rough assignment for any linebacker or DB. Few defenses will have the personnel needed to check all of Chicago’s receiving threats. Burton should see 90-100 targets, a significant total for a tight end. He has a clear path to a top-six positional finish in any fantasy format.
Rookie Anthony Miller delivered back-to-back 95-catch, 1400-yard seasons at Memphis, so he had nothin’ left to prove as a collegiate player. He has an inside/outside skill set and he’s effective at every level of the field. He was a state champ in the 110-meter hurdles as a prep, too. His profile is plenty appealing and he shouldn’t lack opportunities in his first pro season. Miller is a fine late flier in redraft and a top-five-ish receiver in dynasty.
The Bears also signed the blazing fast Taylor Gabriel to a four-year deal, which allows this team to have at least one undersized burner on the field at all times. He and running back Tarik Cohen are both live-wire quick and difficult to contain. Gabriel isn’t likely to produce consistent weekly numbers; he hasn’t caught more than 37 passes in any of his four seasons. But he’ll deliver a handful of big plays, which puts him on the best-ball radar.
Tarik Cohen is a blur
Friends, let’s take a moment to appreciate Cohen’s ridiculousness.
“We’ll have some fun with him,” Nagy recently said.
Here’s hoping it’s true because Cohen’s playmaking ability is rare, even by NFL standards. He’s only 5-foot-6 (if that), but he bulked up this offseason, perhaps in anticipation of a larger role. Cohen handled 140 touches last season, including 53 receptions; it’s not unreasonable to forecast 170 and 65 in the year ahead. He’s compared himself to Tyreek Hill on more than one occasion, and, well … as comps go, it’s not the worst we’ve ever heard. Hill is faster than almost anyone on earth, of course, and clearly a more accomplished receiver. But both players are exceptional all-purpose threats, capable of scoring on any touch. Draft Cohen aggressively in any variety of PPR league.
Jordan Howard remains the featured runner, but…
Almost every time Nagy has mentioned that Howard is still the team’s primary rushing threat, he adds a caveat. Howard has been a notoriously poor receiver, so he’s not yet an every-down, all-situation player. His inability to catch leaves him particularly vulnerable to unfavorable game scripts. When Nagy suggests the Bears will use multiple backs, we need to take him at his word. Cohen’s expected increase in usage will almost certainly take a bite out of Howard’s workload.
However, we shouldn’t forget that Howard is a 225-pound dude who’s rushed for 2435 yards (4.6 YPC) and 15 touchdowns over two NFL seasons. He can play. Howard isn’t the perfect modern running back, but he generally makes great decisions with the ball in his hands. Stylistically, he’s nothing like Cohen, so these backs complement each other well. If Chicago’s offense can simply climb to the middle of the pack in 2018, Howard can again deliver second round value (ADP 18.2). Just please be prepared for a few 11-44-0 duds.
Ultimately, this season of Bears football is about the development of Trubisky and his indoctrination into Nagy’s system and team culture. Trubisky doesn’t need to make a Goff or Wentz-level leap (although that would be [profane] awesome), but he needs to finish the year in total command of his offense. He’s the key to everyone’s fantasy value in Chicago.

Quote
In the early 1980s, Trump had zero equity in his father’s company. According to Fred’s will (portions of which appeared in a lawsuit), the father retained legal ownership of his residential empire until his death in 1999, at which point he left it to be divided between his four surviving children and some of his grandchildren. That explains why, after Trump went bankrupt in the early 1990s, he borrowed $30 million from his siblings, secured by an estimated $35 million share of his future inheritance, according to three sources in Tim O’Brien’s 2005 biography, “TrumpNation.” He could have used his own assets as collateral if he’d had any worth that amount, but he didn’t.
Perspective | Trump lied to me about his wealth to get onto the Forbes 400. Here are the tapes.

ENGIE to sell its German and Dutch coal assets and boosts the implementation of its strategy
ENGIE announces today the signing of an agreement with Riverstone Holdings LLC, a global energy-focused investment firm, for the sale of its shares in coal-fired power plants in the Netherlands and in Germany.
The assets sold are the coal-fired power plants of Rotterdam1 in the Netherlands, Farge1, Zolling3 and Wilhelmshaven4 in Germany. These assets represent a total installed capacity of 2,345 MW. The proposed transaction will reduce ENGIE’s net consolidated debt by approximately 200 million euros. This sale is subject to customary conditions, with closing expected during the second semester 2019.
After this sale, coal will represent 4% of ENGIE’s global power generation capacities, down from 13% at the end of 2015 when the Group announced that it would gradually close or dispose of its coal assets and no longer build any new coal plants. In the past 3 years, ENGIE has reduced its coal-based electricity generation capacity by approximately 75%.
Isabelle Kocher, ENGIE CEO, said: “This transaction is fully in line with the Group’s strategy to be the world leader in the zero-carbon transition. We are focusing investments on solutions for corporates and local authorities, large-scale development of renewable energy and the necessary adaptation of power and gas networks to the energy transition. We will allocate 12 billion euros to these activities from 2019 to 2021, as previously announced during our Capital Market Day held this past February 28th”
As a leading actor in the energy sector in Germany and the Netherlands with 11,000 employees, ENGIE will pursue investments in these two countries with the ambition to lead and speed up the zero carbon transition for all its clients.
1731 MW – 100% ENGIE shareholding 2350 MW – 100% ENGIE shareholding 3472 MW – 100% ENGIE shareholding, in addition a biomass power plant (21 MW, a 50% ENGIE owned unit) and gas turbines (46 MW, 100% ENGIE shareholding) 4726 MW, 52% owned by ENGIE

ENGIE inaugurates the largest hydrogen utility fleet and the first alternative multi-fuel station in France
These vehicles will be used by ENGIE Cofely technicians to ensure multi-technical operations and maintenance work for commercial buildings in the Ile-de-France.
Equipped with extended hydrogen autonomy systems by Symbio, the leading European outfitter for hydrogen mobility solutions, these electric vehicles neither produce particles nor gas emissions and are further enhanced with a reduced recharge time and greater autonomy.
This station has a provisional refueling capacity of 20 kg/day in hydrogen but should increase rapidly to 80 kg/day. This scale corresponds to the immediate needs of current vehicles in the south of Paris. The definitive installation will produce renewable hydrogen on site with an electrolyser powered solely by renewable energy. The hydrogen station is designed, manufactured and integrated by McPhy, a leader in production, storage and hydrogen distribution equipment that serves the energy transition. The whole project has been given financial support from the European Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU).
With a stream of more than 25 000 vehicles per day, the Rungis Market, which offers free motorway toll to all clean vehicles that use the station for refueling, is a strategic location for the development of green mobility for freight transport in Ile-de-France.
As the quality of air is a major public health issue, accelerating the development of green mobility is even more important given that the transport sector is responsible for 35% of the carbon emissions in France.
ENGIE positions itself as a forerunner in this revolution. The Group develops solutions that cover the full range of green mobility technologies, adapting to all uses of the personal vehicle freight transport. ENGIE owns, through its subsidiary GNVert, more than 150 alternative fuel stations in France.
ENGIE is also an international leader on the recharging infrastructures market for electric vehicles, with a presence in 30 countries and 980 cities around the world. Mobility is not the only area of application for renewable hydrogen, notably in the area of large-scale energy storage. For ENGIE, renewable hydrogen is one of the missing links needed to construct a more sustainable energy system. This conviction led the Group to create in the beginning of 2018 a business unit with a global vocation dedicated to this market in the making.

New European competition launched to find innovative solutions for greener cities
“IoT for Greener Cities” is a new challenge launched as an initiative of the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. It targets finding and developing cutting edge technologies, based on the Internet of Things and other IT innovations, which could be easily introduced in our homes, buildings and cities to reduce CO2 emissions and improve local air quality.
The competition is open to any small team with an idea that they think can be scaled up to help decarbonise and improve cities’ environmental footprint. After a voting stage, up to 15 finalists will receive six weeks of mentoring from experts to overcome technical or business related challenges. The finalists will then have the opportunity to present their idea to a jury of experts from a range of European companies and public stakeholders, including the European Union and the World Economic Forum, with the winning team in each category receiving 6 months of further technical support, visibility within the partners networks and €10,000 worth of prizes.
The competition follows the success of the first “Decarbonathon” competition that saw 230 teams from all over the world compete in the wake of the Paris climate change negotiations, COP21, to find promising new ways of reducing CO2 emissions. The winners received significant support to help scale up their innovation.
The “IoT for Greener Cities” new challenge is looking for IT-based innovations that particularly utilise the potential of the ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT): the emerging area that makes use of interconnected smart devices to better understand and tackle challenges such as climate change. The competition comprises of three categories: smart solutions for households, smart solutions for energy-efficient buildings, and sustainable mobility in an urban environment.
In addition to the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum, the competition is facilitated by ENGIE, the Centre for Carbon Measurement of the UK National Physical Laboratory, Climate-KIC, and Energy Ville – a European Research centre focusing on energy-efficient buildings and intelligent networks for a sustainable urban environment.
The partners will provide support and mentoring for applicants, to help design and speed up the commercialisation of these new solutions. The main phases of the competition are:
Online registration of the teams until March 22nd 2017.
