How to get FSSAI License for Railway Premises

There are three types of FSSAI food license certificates. Based on your business cap you have to apply. Those three types of licenses are,  

Basic FSSAI Registration  

State FSSAI Food License Registration  

Central FSSAI Food License Registration  

Basic FSSAI Registration:  

If your railway premises earn turnover below Rs.12 Lakhs, you will fall under a small business cap. For small businesses, a basic food license is enough. You have to register for Form A for basic FSSAI registration/ FSSAI certificate. As the business turnover reaches Rs. 12 lakhs, you have to upgrade the food license from basic FSSAI registration to state FSSAI registration.

State FSSAI Food License Registration:

If your railway premises turnover is between Rs. 12 Lakhs to Rs. 20 crores, you fall under the State food license category. For this food license, you have to fill up Form B to get an FSSAI food registration/ FSSAI certificate.

If your food business turnover is over Rs. Rs.20 crores you should register for Central food license. If your mid-cap business crossed Rs. 20 crores you have to upgrade from State food license to Central food license. For this food license, you have to fill Form B.
