where: vibrations
when: pride weekend (june, 2025)
"This glitter is going to be so hard to get off," Aisha laughed, the dusting along her cheeks and shoulders a choice purely for aesthetic purposes, but she was beginning to question her decision. A problem for her future self, apparently, as she stored it in the back of her mind. She wasn't sure when she had a Saturday night to herself at the club when she wasn't working, so she was going to take advantage of it. "But I'll figure that out later. What are we thinking? Should we hit the dance floor, or get another drink?"

Oddly enough, all I could go for during the storm was a tall iced latte. But I'm glad that I bore through it for the most part. I don't think I've experienced a storm as bad since moving to Merrock. Hopefully, we could say winter is behind us though!
Nice! Very nice. I could go for a shamrock shake to get through the snow. Those I’ve been off of work because of this storm but we made it through the worst of it I think! How are you doing today with all the snow almost-melting?

Kennedy always appreciated the fact that the downtown area had a variety of restaurants. Even if most nights she cooked at home, on nights like today when she wanted to change it up, she could just walk to have a meal. Deciding on Mack's, she sat at the counter, content with having dinner out by herself. However, she didn't mind the company, as the other took a seat next to her. Smiling as she eyed the plate of nachos from the corner of her eye, she nodded at her words. "You're fine! Seems like everything looks good when you're hungry. Though I can admit there's nothing better than the nachos from here." she laughed. "Busy night?"
where: mack's
who: open! (2/8)
Jo had just gotten off her shift at Mirage and was in desperate need of some greasy food. She always had an extra change of clothes so she wasn't walking around in one of her dresses and freezing. So dressed in a drab pair of sweatpants and an overused, oversized hoodie, she made her way to Mack's, backpack in tow. Taking a seat at the counter, she made a loud, happy noise, eyeing the nachos that one of the waitresses was taking to a nearby table. "Sorry, I'm just so hungry, the granola bar I had earlier could only keep me so full for so long," she said to the person next to her.

"It is a great day, almost makes me regret not coming to the beach more ." She laughed. There was always next year in her attempt to become more of a beach person. "Oh definitely. How about we make things interesting, whoever loses has to buy the winner a drink?" she suggested. "Because they have some fun drinks and I'm sure that'd make for a good prize, you know, other than bragging rights."
“Ugh, I know right? I feel like this is just the perfect weather for a day at the beach,” Joella said. She was grateful for the warm weather, but also glad temperatures weren’t too much. “Me too!” She said enthusiastically. “I’ll be happy either way, but you know, happier if I win,” she winked.

"Aw, thanks! You look gorgeous as well." Aisha gushed. But truth be told Joella was always stylish, so she shouldn't have been surprised. "It's been great! I've been having a really good time this evening. How about you?" she glanced in her direction with a smile. "I don't think I've been there yet, up for taking a walk?"
Who: Joella Suh & @aishathevar
What: Enchanted Forest Gala
"I am loving your dress tonight!" Joella gushed as she walked towards Aisha. She was loving everyone dressed up tonight, and it was pretty perfect with the theme. "How are you enjoying everything? Have you checked out the lake yet?" she asked, pushing her hair back as she looked around.

Pretty good! I have a few gigs outside of the club which is exciting. And how about you, lovely? And you'll for sure see me around the crawl and party bus. I never miss the opportunity for a good time. And I can't resist a signature cocktail, I've been dreaming of the shamrock shakes or an Irish coffee.
How've you been, gorgeous? Will I see you around at the party bus and pub crawl? I'm so excited!

"Work up the effort for drinks? I like the way you think," Aisha grinned at the brunette. Either plan was perfect to her; she couldn't quite dance the night away without a drink here and there. "Shall we then?" She quirked an eyebrow, the floor not too far away, but the crowd was larger than most weekend nights, so she decided to lead the way. "By the way, you look fabulous tonight!"
Joella had the highest ponytail and was also covered in glitter. She had spent extra time to make sure her makeup was perfectly creased and colored (a choice) and had on her favorite pair of dancing shoes. “Dance floor, and then drinks!” She clapped her hands together with a giant grin. “That way we can get an extra drink next round. Extra shots,”

"Words to live by," she smiled, then slightly laughed at Joella's suggestion. "Oh, like a podcast? I think that'd be right up his alley, truthfully I wasn't all too interested in history but I can tolerate it now when it's brought up," which was probably a reason he'd been good at his job, after all. And Aisha now had a repertoire of fun history facts, though she wasn't sure when it'd be useful. "Of course! And the wine's good for now, unless you wanted anything else. You know the ins and outs of this place after all."

“There is that too,” Jo offered a smile. “Hey, that’s why they say fake it to make it,” she chuckled. “He could probably write his own show and get people interested if he wants to talk about history.” She wasn’t a history buff at all, but if there was something fun and dramatic added into it, why not? “Thanks!” She said, sipping her drink as well. “Anything else you want to order?”

"Or improvise you know?" She gave an amused grin, waiting for their bartender. "After all, pretty sure if you sound confident enough they'll believe it,'" she joked, laughing as she picked up her glass. "Though I would like to fully immerse myself with Darrius' expertise and show up everyone," knowing that'd be the makings of a good night after a few drinks. She sat next to Joella in their seat, glass in hand as she took a sip of her wine with a nod of approval. "Great choice for drinks by the way!"
"You got it," Joella smiled, ordering their drinks for them. She leaned against the counter as Aisha spoke. "Don't worry, you get used to it," she laughed. "It's part of the fun," she grinned and nodded. "Oh yeah, you've got Darrius as a roommate. Give him some trivia!" she grinned more after picking up their drinks and leading them to their seats.

"I love sweet wines so you pretty much read my mind. Sounds perfect," she smiled, stepping up to the bar alongside Joella who led the way, waiting for the bartender to order drinks. "Seriously?" she raised a skeptical brow. "As much as I'm all for committing to the bit, I'm not sure if I'd be able to keep up the prohibition speak," she admitted, with a laugh. "Though maybe it's a time living with a history professor would be useful."
"I'd hope so!" Joella said with a giggle. She nodded towards the bar, leading them through the growing crowd. "Well, I'll let you in on a little secret, their strawberry-raspberry wine concoction is delicious. They renamed it for the occasion, but it's a popular pick," she said. "Oh, and on a regular night they make you talk all prohibition-y, but I think we should be good for tonight," she grinned before waving down the bartender.

"Certainly would be on brand for you," she laughed softly, knowing the woman to be extra in all the best ways, something she appreciated about her. Nodding slightly at the mention of drinks, she tilted her head in the direction of the bar so she could lead them there. "That sounds like a perfect idea, what should we get for our first round?"
Mirage always had a good crowd, but since they were having a special event tonight, it seemed like more of them decided to join in. She grinned at Aisha. "You're very welcome, m'dear," she said in a singsong voice. "Maybe I should make 'fabulous' my middle name," she laughed. "Let's go find some drinks and then somewhere to sit," she said.

Aisha didn't nearly get as many chances to pull out her cocktail dresses as she should when working at the club. So Mirage was the perfect place for a night out where she could put them on, and have a night out with all the glitz and glam. Arriving a bit early so she could find a spot for her and her company, she'd been people-watching before Joella approached. Giving a smile, she waved her over. "Hi, lovely!" she brightened, greeting the brunette. "Why, thank you! And so do you! Though it's not surprising, since I don't see anything less than fabulous from you." she teased.
Who: Joella & @aishathevar
When: February 2025 (season of love)
Where: Mirage
It was a rare occasion that Joella spent time at her workplace when she wasn't working. But she decided that she'd make an exception for tonight. That didn't mean she wouldn't get dressed up (because of course she would). So, a dress paired with her favorite heels, accessories ready to go, she entered the speakeasy, blowing a kiss to the bouncer. She let out an excited squeal when she saw Aisha making her way into the venue as well. "Hey, gorgeous!" she grinned. "You look amazing!"

"I am definitely enjoying the sun. I haven't been to the beach in what feels like forever." She admitted with a grin. She wasn't the type of person to spend much time outside during the summer, the heat was a bit too much for her, but she'd make an exception for the beach bash. "I am playing in the game! Hoping to pull off a win, but It'll still be fun either way. How about you?"
"Perfect!" Joella said with a sing-song voice, placing her beach bag down along with her towel. She was happy to just get some rays of sunshine before the game started. What much else could se do to prep except stretch her ankles? "How're you enjoying the sunshine? Are you playing in the game too?" she asked. Getting comfy, she sat herself down and pulled her hair up out of her face.

Kennedy believed her setup for sunbathing was perfect. A little far enough away from the goings-on on the beach, but close enough where she could still look over to people watch if she was inclined. She could've been doing something more active, but she was saving her strength for the upcoming volleyball game, so this was perfect for her. Laying back on a towel, she glanced up when she noticed Joella. "Of course not, I would love the company."
Who: Joella Suh & @kennedyxwarren
What: Beach Bash
Joella found a spot on the beach to get some sunshine. Of course, it was the beach, there was a lot of it. But she didn't dress up in her favorite bikini for nothing. Placing her sunglasses on her face, she looked around for a seat getting comfy with a happy hum. She grinned upon seeing Kennedy. "Care if I join you?"
