that twitter thread going around about how people hate going to the gym cuz lifting weights is boring and stupid and vanity-fueled is kinda funny to me cuz I legit had a conversation with my friend (who is a power lifter for fun (she is a competitive personality)) a while back and she was all “who knew that I would’ve liked P.E. in high school better if we had done a unit on weight lifting”
