we need to invent a spray tan-style treatment but instead of spraying you with tanning stuff it sprays you with heavy duty spf. and it lasts a few weeks so that way you can just get your spf spray a few times a summer instead of having to spend 10 minutes every day getting sticky and oily and making sure the sunscreen is all rubbed in. how do i get on shark tank

>:V in bits ART pays attention (and birds shit, and secunit gets shit on with attitude)

ANYWAY i dont actually have a justification for jerma ok - i was just watching clips late at night sob sob -- but he does throw out some good productions....maybe sec unit would love the idea of a sadistic audience controlling what can happen in a dolls house who knows

It's easier to accept that you're aromantic once you understand that what you want isn't romance per se and it's really the companionship that appeals to you. I never actually liked the thought of being in a relationship but I liked the thought of being important to someone
#I’m not even… that fussed about being someone’s Important person I think#I just like people and people like me#on a logistical basis though having people to help each other out is very useful#also I like helping people out#idk#sometimes I think there’s an emotional connection gland that I just don’t have#yearning? I legit don’t know her

Ahsshshdlhh I'm a day late but HAPPY WINDRUSH DAY! In 1948, West Indian immigrants came to the UK on HMT Windrush to help rebuild the UK after WWII. From then, immigrants from many West Indian countries like Jamaica, Barbados, St Lucia, Trinidad etc. came to the UK, but also immigrants from African and South Asian countries too.
Anti-immigrant rhetoric from the British government increased throughout the 1950s-1970s, including increased policing in Wet Indian communities by the Met Police. In 2018 there was the Windrush Scandal, where the British government detained and deported the same Windrush members they invited decades back. The individuals, their families and the community have never been compensated for this. We're still waiting for justice.
The modern UK culture you see now, from the music, the dialects and slang, the food... is heavily influenced by the Windrush. Multicultural London English and Black British Vernacular are blends of Pidgin, Patois, Creole and Arabic. The many shops, stalls and restaurants across London and throughout the country were set up by the immigrants that first arrived and are the reason you can get items from across the globe just around the corner. The UK's ska and rock and roll age was birthed from reggae and rude boys. Learn about the Windrush. Celebrate them. And fight for them!

I adore this recent trend (if that's the right word) of letting an orchestra play classical music on a festival. It's magical to see thousands of festival-goers going absolutely wild on Beethoven. Mosh/circlepits, crowd surfing. It's wonderful to see the orchestra and the audience having the time of their lives.

its not a red flag when your housemate says "hey have you considered that you maybe share a similar kind of chronic fatigue syndrome as your grandpa" right
#cyborg lifeblogging#sometimes i feel like im going legit insane#literal insanity im like girl is this in my Head am i Imagining shit#i don't think i have chronic fatigue per se#but im starting to think i have some kind of. thing. in regards to energy processing or metabolism#i have such intense unstoppable highs and then such crashes and it is difficult to predict#like it cant be chronic fatigue right when i'm this energetic#my ass getting wiped out doing basic stuff but at the same time i can crush endurance athletics#tho the athletics often wipes me out. but that's normal#and i have like. antsiness.#we're standing up talking to each other and i can't stop moving#hi thanks im both hyperactive and falling asleep catatonic at the SAME TIME#and the Whole time i'm like AM I IMAGINING THIS#slowly coming around no 'no i don't think im imagining this'#but at the same time im also convinced some of this is pychological or neurological brain shit#my current hypothesis is it has to do with my digestion/metabolism being mildly wonky in some esoteric manner#it happened today though i had the fucking zoomies right after waking up this morning doing 10 chores and breakfast at once#and then oops i have to lie down#tentatively think that eating food fucks me up and puts me down but i can't not eat food lmaoao. if i don't i also drop.#but it's like. WHAT#WHAT. IS. HAPPENING. In There.

idk if i told the full story on here but i signed up for a research study where they were testing a new opioid, and it was supposed to be up to 5 injections increasing the dose to see what people could tolerate
i got the first dose and almost immediately fainted. they had to call in a whole medical team and it was a huge fucking deal
i was kicked out of the study and got a phone call later where they were supposed to tell me what the drug was, so i could avoid it in the future. they told me it was saline water. a placebo. i fainted from the placebo effect.
anyway, it's been a few months and i just got an email from the same department asking me to be a research participant in a new study: testing the effects of open-label placebo.
open label placebo is when the subjects and the researchers all know it's a placebo. they're testing the power of my mind. my power to imagine anything.
i like to think that they chose me for this specifically based on their past experience with me. "get the guy who fainted like a little bitch boy from saline water." anyway i just submitted all my info and i'm looking forward to getting started.

it is genuinely bewildering to me that adult human beings do not know this but if you are mean to people they will not like you. like tbh they are probably also not going to like you if you are mean to other people but they are definitely not going to like you if you are mean to them. it doesn’t matter if you are funny or if you can use r/aita rules to prove that you are in the right. people simply so not enjoy being treated like shit.
