#we call anyone against new tech a luddite while ignoring the reasons WHY they were against that particular tech --#because they knew that under capitalism the people making use of that tech would do so in favor of paying people for their labor#& as a result skilled workers are unemployed; 'unskilled' workers are paid fucking pennies bc employers see their labor as less valuable#&the consumer gets a shittier product. nobody fucking wins#ftr i dont care if straycatj posts ai. shes a stranger online who posts cat pics. but like#at least understand why people might be upset about the ubiquity of its use before reacting. learn something maybe? for me
