#a doodley#i dont know what happened. some of these are from so little ago and i cant do em anymore#i used to take full color full body couple comms now i cant even draw oc self ship interactions anymore.#granted the comms werent that good either but ykwim i cant even do it for leisure anymore#and its also so weird when i look at my old stuff that i always have like. non linear improvement. it rises and falls all the time#thats not good! why cant i Keep what i learn! and why does Learning make my art worse when im trying to make it better....#its crazy seeing how well i could draw faces (sometimes) before i started studying faces. now they rarely look as good.#alas. once again i feel im the result of a non artist forcing their way to it ykwim#an equivalent of a land mammal trying to live underwater

WOOHOOO finished commission for @/.r9cket on discord :3! This was a really fun project to work on + I learned a lot of things with it!
commissions are currently closed as I’m backed up at the moment with other owed art pieces and art fight reference sheets! I’ll probably open them in a few weeks once I get done with some of these other projects I have, but for now they are closed indefinitely >:3!

#i took a single full color full body slot and im overjoyed at it being filled by a return client im having so much funnn ^_^#a doodley#also god legs are hard on exaggerated proportion characters but i already knew that#also also my issue with more complex more expensive comms like this is i always feel like overworking em to make em worth it#and i feel like a lot of my usual charm and uniqueness gets lost in there. idk. feels generic bc it has to be smooth and perfect and free o#any blemish...idk
