I‘m not convinced that I am shy. . But I am often socially awkward. . And that often causes me grief. . Take last weekend. If you will, my grand entrance to international public speaking. . A big honour. . Bringing with it smart clothing (I‘m a tee shirt and jeans gal) which made me a wee but self conscious. . And a message which dug deep into challenges I‘ve overcome. True, overcome. And yet a close call when it comes to vulnerability and intimacy. . Andrea. Raw, not naked. . But I felt bare. . And the biggest surprise? . The week AFTER. . The rising tension in my stomach is unreal. . Over the weekend I will see people from the event likely and it makes me angsty. . It‘s time to take my thoughts captive. Again. Renew my mind. . Why? . If God is with me, who can be against me? . Whom then shall I fear? . Seriously. . No one. .
