🧵 introducing my Faux Fur Hooded Scarves! 🧵 I just recently started experimenting with fashion. I love to sew and create beautiful things to wear. Faux Fur, Fo Sho!!

I used to not care about a closet having versatility. Then I moved out to Nevada and experienced “actual winter” and acted like a dumb ho that looks for a swimsuit in the summer time. When its like cold and wet and snowing, you need things like warm socks and winter coats and hats and scarves and snow shoes. Guess how many I had, NONE. So after that, I have tried to have a full season wardrobe within my minimalist closet. 

Now, as most good stories start in the modern day and age. I was scrolling through facebook, usually for work, and came across an ad with a fabulous purple jacket. I saved it, because when I looked at it on the website, it was so damn expensive. Like its amazing, it reminded me of my grandmothers jacket she likes to wear, but its too much to spend on one piece of clothing. I ended up talking to my friend about it and she mentioned she had gotten stuff from the company before and it was good. Something brought me back to the site and when I decided I was having “buyers remorse”, they were out of my size. 

So I decided, I am making this happen. I am on the site (https://www.spirithoods.com/) and then I am looking around. As a woman, I am always drawn to the sale section. I came across this...

At first, I was like...I really really like the hood option. But then the bomber jacket was so classic, it was my color black, and one of my favorite animals...the fox. Now here I have to add, these are all fake. Real fur jackets appeal to older customers, no shame to them. Younger brands are more animal and earth conscious so this is all the glam without the pain. The animals assigned to them are more supposed to be your animal personality, or even spirit animal. So I ordered it. It arrived quick, and man it was amazing. 

It did bother me a little bit after that I was like, I really want a hood able ensemble. I did not want another coat, but maybe the option to add a hood? So again I went looking and found this: 

I am normally not a pink person. Yes I am a girl, but pink always reminded me of my mom in a negative way? But I love healing crystals and rose quartz is a womans power stone. I was just so charmed by this one, and I thought pink and black is a classic combo for colors. I love too the “almost purrfect” ones. So what that is, there is a standard for their products. If one comes in that does not meet the standard, then its marked “almost purrfect” at a discount with no returns. After I ordered mine, I found nothing wrong with it that I could tell. On a coat though, this might mean a missing button or something more crucial. 

I ordered it, and it came just as quick as the other one. It even comes with a wooden comb to clean it and maintain it! They are the cutest together. Also the separate option is a lot more valuable than I thought it would be. Both items together were less than one hooded jacket. If you don’t have a fur jacket and are considering one, I highly recommend paying up for these, as a part of the sale goes to wildlife donations. One should never forget, you get what you pay for too. Don’t go cheap at the expense of the world and your wardrobe. Although, as I was gathering photos and links for this post, I came across a new flamingo wolf. Yup, I love flamingos. Damn them. (adds to birthday list...)
