I found @stick-by-me 's blog the other day and it made my little heart so happy to see, I had to share the 3 surviving stickers I have from when I was a wee gobblette. They're barely fuzzy anymore and hella faded but still make me smile when I look at em.
These 3 guys had been on the zippered binder for my Pokemon cards since the late 90s, before they got moved to my mirror like a decade ago 😂 I wish I could say I still had my childhood sticker collection, but sadly I don't. The Pokemon cards however, I do.
I wanted to see if I could find an image of what these babies looked like originally and I actually did! From an Etsy shop called StickerBizCA. Not sponsored or anything, and I'm low-key thinking of buying them now 🤣 But since I'm hijacking their photos there's a link to the shop below too.
I don't normally feel that old in terms of my age but man...
That feels weird to see lmfao

Since Tumblr liked my last sticker post, I figured I'd share some adorable flocked Sandylion stickers that my partner in crime got me for my birthday this year. Aren't they precious? *-*
Flocked / fuzzy Sandylion stickers in particular seem to be quite sought after now, thus they tend to be quite pricey. If I had to guess, I'd presume that less of them exist (compared to other sticker types, Sandylion being somewhat scarce overall), having been used or traded away. Fuzzy stickers were definitely prized on the playground when I was still in school, and generally favoured over other types.
It's a bit odd to me that few companies have stepped in to fill this niche, as fuzzy stickers are absolutely precious. Indeed, if you search for 'flocked' or 'fuzzy' stickers online, primarily vintage Sandylion stickers show up. The kids of today need adorably fuzzy, puffy, pearlescent, holographic (etc) stickers of all kinds!
