Last year’s artwork of OCs that I’ve forgotten to post here + some selected wips and sketches from this year.

Even though my webcomic has been on hiatus for far longer than I’d like, and sadly, I still can’t tell for sure when I’ll be able to get back to it (or any other personal projects that cannot be feasibly done in a on-and-off fashion), I’ve been in much better spirits this year than the previous one… Life’s still hectic, but I’m really happy I’ve found strength and will to draw again.

So, hopefully, next year life will become more manageable and I’ll have enough time to work on the things I love, be it my webcomic, my current fanart obsession, or whatever other artistic goal I’ll set my eyes on. For now I’m indulging in occasional illustrations and sketches ; u ;

Today’s prompt is ‘ineluctable’, meaning ‘impossible to avoid’. And you know how the saying goes, about nothing in life being certain except death and taxes. Since it’s the 10th, i had to pay my due to the powers that be and i feel the inevitability of taxation acutely. So have a poor young man accosted by tax forms.

Today in inktober - cute kids and their awesome dad :D I wanted to practice drawing with a thicker line and these wonderful charas (all from @marcianek‘s upcoming comic Flow Within the Mountains’ Veins) proved very agreeable subjects (even though drawing glasses is SO hard)...

FWMV four valve head. Pretty rare, these were introduced for favourite teams (like Lotus) in '65 if I remember correctly, just before the engine formula changed in '66 and Coventry Climax dropped out of F1 for good. Very cool. (at Coventry Transport Museum)
