I'm such a strong believer in Esperanza being a legacy because it's so baffling that leo conceptualized the Argo as a toddler. And what are the chances that he's a fire user when they haven't known any since hundreds of years ago. What's the chances he and Jason are born a week apart. And then why was she okay with Hera babysitting. Plus Sammy and Hazel of all fucking connections is just so.... Convenient. As well as the fact that Esperanza being a legacy would mirror Emily Zhang being a legacy too, this is important thematically when it's Leo v Frank. Then u would have Beryl (obsessed with gods), Tristan (forgets them), with esperanza in the between as being a part of the gods. The way Leo would've been Percy+Sally if esperanza didn't die. This also goes with Jason's issue about being soooo demigod in nurture, that Leo is also soooo demigod in nature, but they both can navigate away from that together tbh. Hephaestus' blatant favoritism for Leo and his mom. NOW, the question of which god is important too, and I always say Nemesis is the best. Everything Leo does balances out no matter what, from festus to calypso to his death to his personality. Things often end up in his favor but there's usually some hidden catch too. You get what you deserve, and there is no escape. If Leo had to be born Esperanza had to die, u know. It's so crazy to me that Leo gets the fortune cookie. Yes it comes back in a way, but also no one else is offered it. Hazel was right there. Nemesis specifically sought him out. And then she looks like his own family member... Do u guys understand me.

The seas in the main development region of the Atlantic have already reached temperatures not normally seen until August or September.
