World Lore Lesson: Reincarnation & Soul/Spirit Selection and Placement
Okay World Lore Lesson One, Reincarnation. So Reincarnation in this universe is basically just like the regular Reincarnation belief except has a little twist to it. So when a pokémon or person dies, their soul/spirit basically turns into these light orbs that fly up towards the sky, and dissappear at a certain point. During that process whoever has died is going through an experience called Gateway. Gateway is when whomever has died, goes through like this Flashback series of the most emotional or special/important things in their life. So if whoever they were was not the kindest or truest person, they are able to see the error of their ways in an attempt to make them good rather than evil, so to say. Thats basically the end of the major first part of the Reincarnation cycle but the other part mainly has to do with the soul/spirit placement and selection.
So now onto World Lore Lesson Two, Spirit/Soul Selection & Placement. So here once that person/pokemon has gone through Gateway- Whoever this person/mon was is now in the center of Reverse. (I'm not gonna give to much bout it away cause it's gonna play later on in the story.) From there, the one known as the Selector/G.O.W.- Well... It determines sometimes if the deceased one is ready yet to go back to Earth. If they aren't ready they will stay in a different place (there's not really a name for it yet) that's like a waiting hotel if you'd wanna call it. If the deceased is ready though, the Selector will just basically summon a portal door back to Earth. This process is called Identified Placement. When the deceased goes through the portal- It's like the portal immediately decides what the soul/spirit's new purpose will be, what will they be, and where they shall end up. Like I've said before, if they weren't the kindest they'll probably become something crapy or end up somewhere bad. If the soul/spirit is still very intent with doing evil or bad, then they'll be send to a darker place of the Reverse World (Not Earth). If the soul/spirit is still kind of wanting to side with evil but is still just like in between, the portal might see that they can become good, and will give them, like the benefit of the doubt. Then if the soul/spirit was kind or really kind, the portal will place them somewhere where they can continue to be them, or be placed somewhere where they can see loved ones again. Sometimes though the portal can make the wrong call- and sometimes the soul/spirit will end of somewhere where they don't deserve- but... There'd nothing anyone can really do for them after that. After that is all up to them to make the most of their lives.
So with that, is the end of World Lore Lessons One & Two. I hope you enjoyed hearing about the Reincarnation & Soul/Spirit Selection and Placement. I know it's a little confusing but I'm always open to hear any questions you gave about it. ^^ Though I may not give a thorough answer cause- heh, ya know- it's gonna come kater on. :3

back with another mood-board!
this one is pater kratos! he’s not always the best but he always tries! i just started replaying g.o.w 3 and four (because honestly as someone who grew up norse pagan and started learning about nordic paganism again, four was very confusing) and i felt he and his two kids needed an appreciation post! (note: if anyone doesn't know what god of war is please be careful when googling it! this game can be scary for my fellow little ones!)

Top 5 Favorite Songs
1. DK Rap
  https://youtu.be/RcP91tQ4ZSM
Video game entertainment has come a long way from being something that could only be experience at the local arcade. And over the years the video game industry made huge steps in influencing the evolution of entertainment, we now know today. But I was born in a sweet spot that allowed me to have a unique perspective on video games and glad to have been able to enjoy those games that pave the way. One of the first games I could remember beating was Donkey Kong 64 for the Nintendo 64. Although I wouldn’t have known at the time, but this game sparked my appreciation for video games and it is crazy to think that all it took was a press of a “start” button.
2.God of War 2 main menu
https://youtu.be/L_ecft_Yc1o
After thousands of buttons pressed and dozens of cartridges blown into and tens of piles of cases in my room, my love for video games grew. From my initial contact with the crazy controller that looked like an uppercase M and with a joystick in center and z button in the back. Looking back at it made me wonder about how my tiny hands managed to play with that controller. And don’t get me started with the wires that always getting tangled, no matter what. But, getting back on topic when this game came out the visuals at the time were amazing and even though the game was linear. G.O.W 2 grabbed my attention and didn’t let go. Thus, opening my eyes to other ways of creating video game worlds and characters other than just 2D and at best polygonal avatars. Visuals in games and movies, only got better as time went on and cause my passion of both arts, video games to both be fulfilled.
3/4. Don't Believe ‘Em / The Fire
https://youtu.be/80MnbQpdeLs / https://youtu.be/cCrm-6sS3II
I lump these songs together because they basically mean the same thing to me. Video games are way to gain some lessons life have offer if you're willing to learn them in small doses. If players are willing to put as much effort as they do into video games, the possibilities for their growth are limitless. Not only that, what they gain is far more valuable and at the same time entertaining as well. The process of getting through obstacles is not only rewarding but once finish let's players keep that experience to better prepare them for the next challenge. These songs are a constant reminder that without the struggle, there can’t be no progress.  If I become lost just refocus on why I wanted to do this. Also remind myself that if it was easy then everyone would do it.
5. I smile
https://youtu.be/Z8SPwT3nQZ8
And finally, this song quite simply wraps up the future payoff of getting through this second stage of my academic career. This song represents the relief I felt when I completed the first half but did realize my journey wasn’t over yet. Now is where I go beyond what I thought was possible for myself and truly get to see if this is the end of my journey or just the beginning. Only I can answer that question and hopefully tell my future self. Yes, you are ready player 1.

❝ you are right…i do not believe you. ❞
G.O.W. Starters | No Longer Accepting
Luxanna has a habit that Sylas frequently finds irritating. Not as a quirk of movement, sound, or even attitude, but in a way of making him feel wrong for being right.
Too many conversations– arguments, at times– have ended this way with her. Time and time again he finds it near impossible to find glory in his knowledge, his quips, even the advice he offers her merely from their difference in age. It’s the way he shoulders slump, he thinks, even as her knuckles go white on her knees. The denial and anger in her eyes that swims at pace with some desperation to try harder. To banish the ill truths he feeds her with the strength of her hope alone.
He doesn’t know what to make of it, but he knows where he seeks to be right, she seeks to be better.
   It makes him uncomfortable.
“I’d thought you’d known?” He tries to sound passive from where he rests on his cell floor, sprawled on his side, but facing her in the low light. It’s likely not polite to lie down for a conversation, but his restraints are heavy, and they’ve done this so many times he’s sure she doesn’t blame him for trying to get comfortable.
“I wasn’t the only one they used for talent. The mageseekers have a whole network of useful mages they hypocritically milk dry at their convenience. Healers, seers, and all sorts of mystics they register for the country’s service in exchange for not being here. When you don’t have a name worth knowing, they don’t give you the benefit of the illuminators. You get a closet in Wrenwall, tending to whatever smashed soldier just got wheeled in from Trevale. No letters, no horse, no family visitations.”
He rests his head on the lush comforts of a cold stone manacle, keeping his face neutral while he studies her. A moment of silence is the best sympathy he can offer.
“I am sorry, Little Light. Nobody wants to believe it.“

Breweries Fort George and Grains of Wrath take their award-winning collaboration on the road, with Fanzine IPA.
Tumblr media
image sourced from Fort George Brewery
Recognizing that the brewing industry has evolved from the classic West Coast IPA of the 80s and 90s, brewers from two of the region’s perennial beer halls - Fort George Brewery and Grains of Wrath -  show that the Pacific Northwest can evolve with the rest of the nation. As the world shifts its attention towards ‘Instrammable’ beers, like the New England-style Hazy IPA, the brewers in Astoria (Oregon) and Camas (Washington) joined forces to create a beer that is crisp and clear, during a time when all people want is something hazy.
Dubbed Fanzine IPA, the beer pays respect to beers roots with an India Pale Ale that is piney, with bucket loads of grapefruit and other citrus fruits. The result is a beer that is crisp, dry, and was inspiring enough to win Gold at this year’s 2020 Oregon Beer Awards in the category of Best American IPA. Reflecting on this, Michal Frankowicz, head brewer of Fort George Brewery reflects on how this whole thing started.
Mike Hunsaker from G.O.W. and I met years ago at a hop conference when he was working for Fat Heads Brewery,
We really enjoyed each others beers and had a blast hanging out.  We ran into each other year after year and always talked about making a West Coast IPA together since it is our favorite style. When he started Grains of Wrath a couple years ago we really dug into trying to get a collaboration together.

The name? Well that’s in part thanks to Fort George’s Marketing Director Brian Bovenizer, who believe strongly in the independent spirit that inspires every employee at both Fort George Brewery and Grains of Wrath.
Fanzines are deeply rooted in the DIY ethos - fiercely independent, small run, self-published, xeroxed and stapled testaments to the object of a true fan’s reverence. Fort George’s first labeled Seasonal, Fanzine IPA, was intentionally designed to look like a paper zine comic and features the art of independent folk legend Michael Hurley, who’s art just so happens to be the subject of its’ own Fanzine.
Michael Hurley, now a local to the Astoria area, is an American Folk Singer, Cartoonist and Painter. A favorite of the Fort George team, Hurley is a regular performer on the Fort George block and had previously voiced interest in designing a can for the brewery. An inspiration behind the Fanzine series, Hurley’s art can be found on this year’s can.
As for Grains of Wrath head brewer, Mike Hunsaker, this marks not the end of this cooperation with Fort George but probably the beginning.
I'm super happy to have finally made some beer with my buddy, Michal, and Fort George Brewery. I've been a fan of theirs and respect the beer that's been coming out of there for years. I look forward to getting them out here to our place to brew something else soon.
For now, one should stop into one of the following locations to recover a chance to enjoy what award-winning collaboration tastes like.
Wednesday, February 26th
5 pm - 8 pm Grains of Wrath Brewery, 230 NE 5th Ave, Camas, WA 98607
Friday, February 28th
5 pm - 8 pm Tap Union Freehouse 1300 Washington St #200, Vancouver, WA 98660
Saturday, February 29th
5 pm - 8 pm Roscoes 8105 SE Stark St, Portland, OR 97215
Saturday, February 29th
11 am - 12 am Fort George Brewery 1483 Duane St, Astoria, OR 97103
Should you miss a chance to try this on draft, you will need to wait till late December or early 2021, when Fort George Brewery selects another brewery, another artist, and a new recipe which pays homage to the independent, DIY spirit, imbued in every can of Fanzine IPA.
About Fort George Brewery
Founded in March 1811 by Captain Jonathan Thorn, Astoria was the Pacific Fur Company’s primary trading post in the Pacific Northwest. Astoria was renamed Fort George after King George III while under temporary British Authority during the war of 1812. At over 200 years, Astoria is the oldest American settlement west of the Rockies.
Since its inception, Astoria has been battered with a series of fires and industry collapses. In 2007 Fort George Brewery + Public house was established. Even though Sweet Virginia (our small batch brewery) was just a wee lady, she helped bring some of the thrum of hard work back to this pocket of the city.
...
In 1924 the Fort George Building was erected on the original settlement site of Fort Astoria, operating as an automotive repair shop through the early 1990’s. Briefly abandoned and sadly neglected, the Fort George Building has been revitalized and is now home to the Blue Scorcher Bakery and Fort George Brewery + Public House.
About Grains of Wrath Brewing
Grains of Wrath Brewery is located Downtown Camas in an old 30’s era auto shop. This brewpub started off as an idea for partners Michael Hunsaker, Brendan Greenen, Shawn Parker and Brendan Ford. We spent a lot of time really dialing in the space and converting it into our brewery & restaurant to be what we envisioned as a cool spot to hang out with great options for tasty beers, drinks and food.
Our team is what makes us who we are. We have Mike Hunsaker, head brewer and partner, and Owen Lamb in the brewery having fun and kicking out a huge variety of beers. To add to the beers we have Chef Erin LeDoux and Chef Joel Schmid cooking up mouth-watering dishes. Of course, none of this would be possible without our awesome service and bar staff lead by General Manager Brendan Greenen.

Grounded
A/N
Oh boi here we fucking go!
*Eun*
It's been stressful few weeks, dad's been working more, I've had character development and now I'm working in my homework as dad's currently at his match against AJ, I already finished my match against Billy Kay which I won.
As time passed I got bored but I kept going with my math homework, as I was working I threw my pen on the books "I give up, I'll just take the detection then handle this crap".
After I just gave up I pulled out my phone and started to watch Jacksepticeye play G.O.W (or dad of boi) , it was fun and the jokes that he made were just funny.
*Time skip*
As I was laughing at another time that he said boi, I was to lost in the video to noticed that dad was at the door till "EUN NAKAMURA!"
*Shinsuke*
After my match not to mention that annoying interview with reene young I walked to Euns locker room to see if she finished her homework, hopefully she did.
Once I was at her door, I heard her laugh when I stepped in I saw that she wasn't even half way, and I see her watching videos on YouTube, so as calmly as I could I quietly shout "EUN NAKAMURA!" she turned around and was in shock.
"dad, your back" she gulps and I roll my eyes while walking up to her "yeah and didn't I say that I wanted your homework done by the time I get back".
*flashback*
"Eun I want to finish you study before I get back, ok?" I asked as she nods and grabs her books, I smile head out to the ring.
*end*
I face palm myself and grab my stuff "just get your things and let's go, we'll talk after" I growl as she nods.
While we were in the car I take a quick glance at her and sigh "you know I don't like being upset with you right?" She nods her head stays quiet, when we were finally in the hotel room we sat at the table.
"why tell me why you did not finish" she sighs and look at me "because I'm bad at math, I try and try but I just cant, I'm sorry dad I tried then I gave up" she explained and I nod my head at her "ok, I forgive you, but you need to give it another go, ok princess?".
Eun smiles at me and I smile back, as she was walking to her room I call out "oh and Eun" she turns around "two weeks your grounded sweetie" I say and she sighs before nodding.
*next day*
As I woke up I walked to the lounge, only to see Eun asleep on the couch, as I placed a blanket on her I see that her homework is actually done, as I smile I look at her then writing a note on her book, then heading back to bed.
*Eun*
As I woke up I smiled knowing That I finally finished, as I took a photo of it and send it to school, I see a note from dad saying
Good work on finishing it, but your still grounded. XOXOX dad
As I fall back on the couch, I goarn in defect and I hear dad laughing as he walk by "I hate you" I say sleepily as he smiled "I love you too princess"
A/N
Oh god that's done.

Everyone is smarter than you in something and if you don’t figure it out what it is and learn from it, it’s your mistake.
