Kakashi knew from the start ...that the user of that Jutsu has to give up his personal life ...and during the mission ..when interacting with the old Lady ..he grew very fond of her.Another precious someone in his life ..who he had to ...give up! His facial expression ...says it all! 😥

As Kakashi is no Uchiha ...for him to use Obitos Sharingan takes a lot more strength and chakra and chakra control. And ...when looking at his face ...I assume ...it hurts him when he uses it.
