Gabriel Angelos, Chapter Master of the Blood Ravens 14-Oct-2022

So Blood Ravens aren’t my main focus currently, they’re a good while off yet, but when I happened across this ArtelW Chapter Master I couldn’t pass it up. The sculpt is far more aligned to Gabriel in the Dawn of War games than the Forge World model and the print came out pristene.

Since coming back to painting I haven’t had much of any practice with human flesh tones, cream or capes. And Gabriel has all 3... So I gave it my best! Super fun aside to the Necrons, had a blast and have a fairly nice center piece for a future army!

Minor aside - His cape is too clean as it is, however I’m wanting to add a transfer to that large blank area eventually so it makes sense to wait until I have that to weather it.
