7/25/18 -- Sister Katie Buntin, Guatemala City, Guatemala Mission

hey hey hey family and friends! hows everyone doing back there in the states_ you know whats funny_ sometimes i forget that im actually in a diifferent country...haha yeah i know that sounds weird, but its true. sometimes i forget im speaking spanish! haha yuupp im weird but its a cool feeling!

so this week was suuupppper interesting! so on sunday we were singing a closing hymn and we just hear BOOM BOOM BOOM,BOOM,BOOM,BOOM )in my mind i was like OH MY LANTA WE ARE IN WORLD WAR 3 RIGHT NOW WHAT DO I DO WHAT DO II DO WHAT DO I DO_!= a whole buch of men stood up and went outside to go ssee what was going on... well all of us inside continued to close down the meeting and we started a closing prayer. and during the prayer BOOM BOOM BOOM one of the  guys came in )i was sitting in the back next to the door= and he didnt just come in he BURSTED THROUGH and he grabbed my arm and said [GET OUT OF THE CHURCH NOW[ so yeah at this point im like super freaked out but i waited till they say amen then i grab my companion and we RUN RUN RUN faster than the gingerbread man and you know what we saw_ A FREAKING EXPLOSION!!! A FREAKING PROPANE GAS PLANT EXPLODES!!! can you believe that_!_! A LA GRAAAANNN! oh mah gawsh! anywayssss it was super crazy and everyone went out of the church building screaming and running like crazypeople, so what do i do_ i run out of the church building screaming like a crazy person. monkey see monkey do! so we ran and were making tons of phone calls to a whole bunch of people and then all of a sudden we had to leave our area because all of the gas toxins were in the air! but dont worry were fine everyone is fine! no one died in this incident, and only 4 were severly hurt... but yeah anyways thats the exciting part of the email... the rest is probs super boring but imma continue to write... lol. so yeah the work here is going well! we are working super hard everyday! so that we can see the miracles the lord has for us! anyways so heres a little heath update for everyone! today i went to go get my backbrace!FINALLY! its been a little while since ive actually had a health update from one of my doctors but today i went to go get it! with 9 months into the mission )which means walking all day everyday.= sure it hurts but ive been a supertough cookie and finally im getting this brace which will help me to have an easier time and with time ill be able to have less pain. so yeah thats super duper exciting! 

so yuppers! in 2 weeks from yesterday we have cambios )or transfers!= which means lots of things but we dont know anything yet so imma let yall vote and when i find out itll be super cool for yall! okay so yeah heres the options
