I was reluctant in posting to this, since, it’s not completely FF7 related because it’s spilling into my other fandom, but it is kind of similar in a way. Seeing, I almost feel no shame comparing apples to oranges... let’s do it!

Cloud and Tifa are supposedly a LEO and TAURUS pairing, which is interesting because it’s not a fairytale pairing according to western astrology. However, I would argue that anyone with eyes can clearly see, they fit together so well and look SO damn good together. Whatever air they are breathing, you know it’s hot and heavy, LOL. ***No matter what, astrology should be taken with a grain of salt since it can get complicated when they start adding planetary influences from time of birth, day of birth, etc. and this is after all, fictional characters :-).***

Let’s look at a famous LEO x TAURUS duo that I’ve admired FOR A LONG TIME; G-Dragon (Leo) x Taeyang (Taurus).

Their chemistry is undeniable. They shine together brightly just like Cloud and Tifa. The only difference is that GDxTY are best friends (male and male) and not in a romantic relationship.

However, I still think it’s worth looking at from GDxTY’s perspective because you can see what they think of each other and that can be reflected into the Leo x Taurus pool.

Smiling at Taeyang’s thoughts about him, G-Dragon replied, “Taeyang’s strength and weakness is that he is really stubborn. It’s because he perfectly carries through according to his thoughts that the current Taeyang exist. At times, he makes some people frustrated but there are good results when Taeyang pushes forward.”

G-Dragon continued to explain his strong bond with Taeyang as a friend, “Taeyang doesn’t talk much and he doesn’t act out loud, but he’s a friend that brings a lot of feelings when he is next to you. I can feel his naive honestly, and if there could be one friend next to me when i die, i hope it’s Taeyang.”

After reading what G-Dragon and Taeyang think of each other and it doesn’t remind you of Cloud and Tifa’s lovely dynamicc... I don’t know what to tell you, other than, have you gotten your sleep yet? This is a beautiful pairing of a Leo and Taurus in real life. It don’t get much better than that.

According to the birthdays given to us, Cloud is a Leo, Tifa is a Taurus and Aerith is a Pisces and these signs fit them so perfectly I’m amazed at how much thought they’ve put into these characters

Nojima said it. People kept calling Cloud icy, but he's clearly not. His personality fits his star sign and his blood type.

Ayumi Ito joked if she'd known Tifa's blood type she'd have factored it into her performance for AC, so while in the west we pay more attention to that, in Asia, blood typing for personality traits is more important. It's very likely Nojima put careful thought into everyone's star signs, too, though.

Cloud’s born in 1986, so he's a tiger.

Tifa's born in 1987, so she's a rabbit

Aerith's born in 1985, so she's an ox

Zack's born in 1984, so he's a rat.

Rats and oxen are compatible.

Tigers and Rabbits are compatible.
