You know what I like about Diablo's design in the original Predator? The Jungle Hunter, that's who I'm talking about. I've been thinking of making this silly post and you...thirsty Yautja lovers may like this.
There's this one aspect I love about Diablo's design.
It's the fact HE HAS HAIR. Like BODY HAIR.
Sorry to use statues but they are meant to be very detailed and accurate to his look. But I'm being legit. Like, and this is something I've noticed with maybe almost every Predator after Diablo. That none of them have body hair. And I only noticed this years ago that Diablo has like a big chunk of it on his back.
Sorry to use the McFarlane figure as a reference. But I've noticed that for years and it stuck with me. Like, the idea this dude has chest and back hair. And the others feel like...I shouldn't say naked. Should I call it body hair?
Like...we don't know Diablo's age. I assume he's an Elite and he's been around for a long while. If he was human, I envision him being a 50-year-old who's been hunting in Central America for years. Like, that kind of age range near Dutch's team. Even though Dutch is 39 during the film but still.
This is such a silly aspect I wanted to talk about. Because I have this silly post I put in my drafts concerning my own Predator/Yautja. But it's some spoilerish stuff. Yet the idea Diablo has body hair like...this dude is MANLY. This is strangely something I want on more Predators/Yautja.
Wait, maybe I should count Greyback because they essentially used Diablo's design. Fuck, I sadly don't think so. Or a little, it's hard to see. And I don't want to use figures as a reference because those are usually reused molds. But trust me, Diablo is a harry dude.
Anyway, hope you people who are thirsty may like this detail. Unless you already knew about. You folks will likely laugh at this post or find it confusing. But seriously, it's something I wanted to speak about. It's not a huge detail. Or maybe it is.

Sooooooo...that leaked trailer...now if only we had the whole pilot. But a trailer is still good enough. XD Like I said on Twitter. It's worse than I imagined.
Iād wanna see what The CW shot for the Powerpuff pilot they had so we could all destroy itā¦likeā¦
I sound crazyā¦and it likely wonāt have finished special effects possiblyā¦orā¦I meanā¦wait, they showed it to a test audience and whatever elseā¦
I want someone to leak that shit so we could all destroy it. I know they are reshooting itā¦and yes, some minutes ago. I read something called Powerpuff World seem to be a thingā¦
But I justā¦want to fucking destroy that pilot if it was leakedā¦I mean like the actual footageā¦

You know....I genuinely question how people or someone could say, "I can't see how Predator can fit into the Alien universe" when it's an alien species that has no intention of revealing itself to others or wanting its technology in the wrong hands.
And I'm talking about the Yautja. Like...it's easy to imagine them in it. But that's mainly me thinking that because the universe is huge, and the species is usually Hell bent on not revealing themselves. Especially the stories are usually standalone.

"I don't want the Alien franchise to be dragged down by AVP! AVP sucks!"
Oh my gosh, grow up. We had two crappy films and I'm sure if we get a new film. It won't be like those two. The Alien franchise will be fine. You guys act like that crossover is that bad.
Especially when not just comics and fan films proved that it can work. You also have video games such as AVP2 2001 that do the concept justice.
I'll be stupidly honest. I would like an AVP movie that's technically retcons Alien 3 and 4.

You know, while I could be wrong. I wish more people would talk about Prince.
The main Predator you play in Aliens Versus Predator 2 (2001). The dude is essentially one of the most prolific Yautja in the expanded universe considering some of the shit he's done. Right next to Scarface.
But maybe it's because the game isn't really....up on the market and it sadly can't be remade due to legal issues and shit. Or maybe his 2001 graphics may not be for everyone but I'm rambling. He's up there in my favorite Yautja list. But again, I should keep in mind I'm talking about a video game that will turn 23 this year next month. So, maybe Prince wouldn't be as well-known than Scar or Wolf who appeared in films...
Granted, I called Prince the "Doomguy of Yautja" once. And I question if that should still count because the dude honestly is. I'm not fucking around with describing him that.

You know what I find very funny and just realized...
So...a Weyland-Yutani android is going to be a major character in the next Predator film.....and the two are becoming allies....
Last year or so...I had a crazy idea of maybe a female android and a Yautja but it didn't go far....
I think me and Dan Trachtenberg think alike. But what an amazing coincidence.

Vivziepop: I win. > : )
I hope that's how she's feeling right now because I wrote that earlier. Because damn, as someone who liked the Hazbin pilot from 2019. She really won.
Edit, yes this is about this, and the fact season 2 of Hazbin Hotel is gonna get 15 episodes.

This has popped up in my mind throughout some years whenever I feel like wanting to make a Yautja character. But I never go through with it because it sounds so utterly insane. Yet the idea is very intriguing. The idea of a Yautja being LITERALLY BLIND.
I'm not saying a little. I mean the Predator can't see. I legit question of what would be the point of that because how can a Yautja even go on in life when it's eye sight is literally gone.
But then there's the fact of what if the Yautja somehow develops or gains some sort of new sense where it's still able to somehow STILL HUNT. And it pretty much makes this Yautja straight up Daredevil.
The idea is so insane, possibly stupid. But it sounds so raw and cool. Also, why should I even take it so seriously because a character like Daredevil exists and he's written in a way where people can take his character seriously...I also recall some animals are blind. But I don't know which ones.
I just wanted to ramble about that because it's such an intriguing idea. It would also be intriguing if his bio mask/helmet showcased a sign that the Yautja is blind. Like, it has no 'Eyes' or someth

....how do you all feel about calling a Predator/Yautja "Lucifer"?
Like...I'm just wondering. Because I have seen you folks give these guys what seem like genuine alien like names. And here I am giving my own Predator the name of the fallen angel that essentially rebelled against God. And the story of whether he becomes the devil or just works with Satan. The funny thing maybe my big reason why I'm sticking with that name is despite it's important religious meaning.
I legit think Lucifer is one of the sickest fucking names in history. Like...calling a Predator that would be like, "Holy fucking shit." And I mean...the original Predator was called "El Diablo" meaning "The Devil".
Also...I'll admit that yeah...I'm still developing my own Predator and he is essentially my Yautja main in Predator Hunting Grounds.

I wish I can get the Jungle Hunter mask soon. But Captured's mask works fine. Especially if I still go with the idea of a "Disgraced Prince" angle for him. I question if I should draw him. Yet I just think he would essentially be a "Rebooted" version of what Diablo could've been...but with some changes. It's some secret stuff I'm not gotta reveal. Or I'll reveal it when I feel more comfortable about it.
I kind of wish Hunting Grounds had more custom options like...changing the underwear? That sounds weird. I mean like changing little details on their armor that isn't just colors. Or even choose which faces with a different body. I'm kind of getting off topic.
But yeah, what do you guys think? Anyway, here's what he would look like with the Jungle Hunter mask whenever I'll be able to get it.

Giving these dudes skull warpaint in this game is so fucking genius. I'm surprised the films haven't done it yet. But I'm glad they haven't yet too.

Just a random post because my last two Predator/Yautja related posts are still getting attention and even things I am surprised by. Which I genuinely don't mind. But the thing is I wanna say I am strangely grateful I'm in a fandom where so many women (And men, don't worry, I won't forget you) are collectively like, "Yes. These jacked up alien warriors that hunt other species for sport. I wanna fuck that." I admire you people for just being so open about that shit.
Especially my taste in women is likely boring but that's just me putting myself down and being all, "You're all braver than me. I think I'm cool because some of the women I find attractive are way older than me. You all love an alien species that can live for hundreds or thousands of years."
Also, I gotta make a favorite Predator/Yautja list sometime. I've wondered about it. But I've held off from it.

Just thinking about it now. I honestly want an open world AVP/Alien vs Predator game. Something akin to the Far Cry games.
I feel like AVP 2 2001 is somewhat close to that. But it's still missions. I'm talking like a massive overworld.

A comment from the AVP Galaxy forums still bothers me despite I kept it. The idea of an AVP film stripped back to where...it's just one Alien and Predator fighting.
Not one Predator fighting a ton of Aliens. Or a couple of Predators fighting a couple of Aliens. Just ONE OF EACH...
The idea sounds so...forgien to me. It's so weird. Like, it feels so wrong. It sounds way too simple and the idea of it just...feels wrong. Like, you're telling me you're going to have these two creatures not kill each other right away in one fight scene?
But there's also the fact I'm so used to the crossover to essentially being a video game. With Warriors being enemies in a Marine or Predator campaign. And I have to keep in mind films aren't video games. And the idea that...can such an idea work? Treating these two creatures like fucking kaiju in a sense? And especially you have to have the humans still be the focus because that's what the films have been about. It's not just about those creatures.
The idea feels weird again...I mean...AVP Sandtrap just has one Predator and Alien. But that's just one issue.
Besides, it's weird looking at those comments and taking advice. But I mean...those AVP films aren't really good. I just wanted to ramble about this because it's so intriguing. And I think it's just the action junkie inside me feeling so put off of the idea. Especially my own ideas.

For some stupid ass reason or well, rewatching the trailer for AVP 2 2001. The idea of Aliens & Predators on the Rook Islands in Far Cry 3 is morbidly amusing to me. Mainly the idea of the villains slowly losing their shit as they realize they aren't the scariest people anymore.
"Have I ever told you the definition of insanity?" Vaas says as these two creatures literally destroy the ecosystem and the islands themselves.
And then you have Buck realizing he was violated by a Facehugger and it's like hard karma dude. You also maybe have Citra praising those Yautja. I'd swear, I would play this game.

So, my opinion on the fact season 3 of Hilda was meant to be longer?
Well, I am annoyed by the fact we didn't get more episodes. But still, I enjoyed with what we got. With what I said in my proper review of the season. I felt like making it short and what people have been saying "Serialized" made it a more "Focused" season with the story it was trying to tell. But alias, more episodes with other stuff would've been great.
Especially with what I've said on Twitter. I'm sad some characters didn't get some focus. But alias, this explains why it was shorter. I still loved season 3 though. And I need to rewatch the season.

From what I get from that new Devil May Cry Netflix trailer. It seems like the show isn't placed within the game canon and essentially its own thing. Likely being a reimagining of the DMC3 story...
That's what I'm seeing...and honestly that's fine if that's the case.
Mostly because the game's canon is already kind of filled to the brim with lore and kind of finished in a way. Hopefully the show is good.
I loved the choice of having Papa Roach's "Last Resort" in the trailer.
The reason I'm thinking it's a new canon is because it looks like Dante and Lady are meeting each other again. The synopsis also makes it sound like a new beginning too.
Again, hopefully the show is good. I love the games and the anime that was released years ago.
So, I found out it is its own canon. Which I was right and it makes too much sense. And also I was thinking earlier. If this show is successful unless it's already been developed. Would season 2 focus on the original Devil May Cry game's story basically?
