so i was walking outside & noticed a shape on the cement 😋 for the longest time i let people convince me that my imagination was a bad thing; something that had to be left behind or outgrown. i was actually 6 the first time someone shamed me for having a more active imagination than 'normal'. . .like. . .wtf? i'm an early 90's kid, that should have been perfectly acceptable. but no, and i was continuously criticized & shamed & looked down on whenever my creativity made itself known. til this day i don't know why, but who cares?? now i embrace the fact that i can picture things so clearly in my mind and that i think differently. i like that about myself and i'm proud of it. plus, you really gonna tell me it's not funny to see sneks out of cracks in the cement & bird poop? 🤣🤣 #imagination #creative #roquesox #geekyemowitch #alternativenormal #emo #alternative #geek #witch https://www.instagram.com/p/Caz3LduLAAe/?utm_medium=tumblr
