The next day, at sharply six pm, Hope is standing by the doors, hands shaking every so slightly because she isn’t so sure that she was making the right move. This could ruin their friendship that was a secret to everyone but she was willing to shout it to the rooftops if it meant that she gets to have her. Hope spent six months searching for humanity in a string of one night stands that meant nothing and she was missing the one person that had been the rock. Josie was humanity, she was soft and pure but also just as dark and screwed up as Hope. Looking at her phone, she worries that Josie will stand her up, maybe she should have gone to her dorm but she had been scared that if Josie was planning on standing her up in the end that she would break if Josie answered the door in her pajamas. She smells her and when she turns around, her throat felt tight. ❝Are you ready to go?❞ You look radiant is what she wants to say.
