Also, I didn't catch until this moment that I did not have Thessia wearing her alien eyes until she turned into a teen. I am a most observant Watcher.

Uncle: Watch your tone boy! It is time you return to Bridgeport so we may be off for you to finally meet your betrothed.

Kevin: Ah, still planning to marry me off then? Why not your own son?

Uncle: He's already been matched to a more respectable female.

Kevin: So the princess isn't respectable enough for you?

Uncle: Not in a million years will I sully my bloodline with inferior genetics.

Kevin: Still not recognizing the Queen then, since she's human? That lack of respect could be construed as Treason.

Uncle: I respect her plenty, she has powers unlike the majority of this planet so she's not entirely human is she? But marrying my son to her daughter is strictly out of the question no matter who her husband is. Humans aren't good for much other than to be servants and bed-warmers.

Kevin: I won't do it, I refuse!

Uncle: Have I struck a nerve? Is this about your own human plaything? Don't look so surprised boy, you think I wouldn't know about what you've been up to? Thought you'd escaped my reach while I let you gallivant around pretending to be a "normal" human? You are my sister's son, no matter the unfortune of who she chose to be your sire, and my ward, so of course there were others tasked with keeping an eye on you. So now, you will stop acting like a petulant child, come home and do your duty and restore your family's honor by marrying the Princess. Feel free to bring your little human, every Prince needs a mistress. Maybe I can have a go with her a time or two.
