#genuinely annoyed and perplexed that this scandal has gone from a simple 'yunho was out past curfew how dare' to 'in what ways did yunho po

if the news is true, why would you consider dropping yunho? i’m not too familiar with adult establishments in korea. is it the same as prostitution? it seems like any adult celebrity man thing to participate in (or maybe i’m just use to seeing western celebrity news)

prostitution isn’t the same as human trafficking and i’m on the side where i think it should be legalized.

if the mbc news story is 100% true that means yunho “loves authority” jung FOUGHT the POLICE and then fled the scene. i would respect him significantly more if he had that kind of antiestablishmentarianism in him. i honestly thought everyone who knows yunho at all would immediately know that story can’t be true but esp for int fans the waters r very muddied by like. little sevens, and other belligerents. 

if he was at a bar i would be like whatever that’s normal. if he was at a normal strip club i would be like i guess he’s a normal 35 year old man?? 

if he was at a VIP guest lounge (also called a room salon) at an adult entertainment establishment (which mbc only alluded to, did not outright claim) i would like him less. it’s like the kind of setting that shady businessmen go to make shady deals. they’re inherently misogynistic as all things are. it would give me a bad taste in my mouth. but that doesn’t necessarily mean he did something wrong, it just calls into question how much i can trust a man in that space which is not at all. 

i don’t want to get into a discussion about prostitution vs human trafficking or the legal or moral implications of that because i don’t think this yunho scandal warrants that discussion and korean sex workers deserve better than having their livelihoods debated on the internet in the context of a kpop scandal. not saying you said something wrong anon it’s just that international kpop fans are already disrespectful and dehumanizing to korean people just for being people, let alone being women and sex workers. i don’t wanna entertain that kind of convo when i know it’s being had in an ugly ugly way somewhere else.
