Now I am the master.” (Not really, but the quote is perfect since Tumblr teacher/student roles are reversed) Anyway: I use tmblr.co links because sometimes people change their web address. For example, among your mutuals, @hathor-frozen once was @hathor-aroha, @kalikoke was @geometrynerd, @frozenartscapes was @mylittleartscapes, etc. Apparently, it should go to the post page if the url changed from abc.tumblr.com to xyz.tumblr.com, but I haven’t encountered that situation yet. I know 3 ways to get tmblr.co links, though there may be more:

Use a theme that allows sharing, like Effector (see Nos’, Kalikoke’s & my blogs), Single A (@frozenartscapes’ blog), Brutal Simplicity, Tumblr default, etc.

Effector has a “+Share” button in the bottom right of the post. Click, copy, & paste.

Single A has a “Tweet” button. Even if you don’t have a Twitter, a web pop-up with the link will appear. Copy & paste.

Brutal Simplicity has the short url at the page bottom (see any of @asynca’s posts, for example)

Tumblr default has 3 horizontal dots beside the Reblog button Click them, then select “Tweet”. Pop-up will appear. Copy & paste. Don’t use the other options bc you have to log in to whatever account you selected.

For blogs like yours that do not have the “Share” option, I do one of two things:

Go to the post and click “Embed”. In the next window, click on the three dots beside the “Reblog” button. Select “Twitter”. In the pop-up that appears, copy the short link.

If “Embed” does not work use, the longer route: scroll through the profile pop-up window that appears when in dashboard mode. Upon finding the post, click the “Share” arrow beside the quote bubble, scroll to “Twitter”, and copy the short link from the pop-up.

I don’t really have that strong of an attachment to any particular city. I mean Las Vegas is cool for all the obvious touristy reasons, and ditto for NYC, but beyond that? Most places don’t have a strong pull for me.

91: where do you plan on traveling this year? 

Texas, for my sister’s wedding.

92: are you a person who drowns their pasta in cheese or a person who barely sprinkles a pinch? 

I am both of these people at different times.

I think my myers briggs is INFP. I always forget like five minutes after taking the damn test. Zodiac is Aquarius (or rabbit for the chinese zodiac), and I consider myself Ravenclaw although I’m fairly certain various quizzes have given me every single house.

It’s been a few years, but I really enjoyed it. It’s something I should try to do more often.

Rather than list the dozens upon dozens of songs I could use for this, I’m going to give one somewhat meta answer and say “Ode to the Mouth-Harp” by Bob Zentz. It’s a song all about the way music (and specifically the harmonica) can resonate with us and cheer us up even in the worst times:

I’d say writing fanfiction is definitely high on that list.

If it’s delicious, tasty, and pasta, it’s my favourite.

A deep brown that makes my heart melt. Also, some shades of blue eyes can be amazing too.

Sure. More than one, actually.

Sunrise–more special especially when I can be assed to get up that morning and enjoy one.

Nothing, because I’ve never been out that late at night with friends before (I just wasn’t a night-clubber sort.)

N/A. Not a band type of person. I’ve really sensitive hearing and loud music gives me wonderful migraines and puts me in a grumpy mood.

I have a gorgeous necklace from an online friend of mine that has Ancient Egyptian beads in it, with a small pendant of an ibis. Naturally, much to no one’s suprise or shock, it’s one of my favourite necklaces.

44: when was the last time you remember feeling completely serene and at peace with everything? 

I guess when reading outside in the warm sun, just enjoying the occasional hot day here.

Looking into a mirror at night at my own reflection. And hell yes it is the same today.

I do!

I love the hurt/comfort stories with lots of emotional bonding. I’m also a big fan of sibling/friendship fluff (though romantic fluff works too).

42. Least favorite fluffy tropes?

I....don’t know? How well tropes are used matters more to me than which tropes they are.

43. Do you like fluff on its own or in conjunction with other elements (angst, sex, etc.)

I can enjoy fluff on it’s own, but I think fluff that comes after angst feels more earned, and is thus better in some ways. (And fluff does go well with sex, not gonna lie).

44. How fluffy is too fluffy?

If a story is long and pure fluff, it can get to be a bit much. Like, if there’s no real plot or conflict whatsoever then it can wear out it’s welcome.

45. Favorite fluff fic?

I don’t think I have a particular favorite, honestly. There are a lot of good ones out there but none jump to mind at the moment (hurray for cop-out answers!)

I found researching the fashion of the early 1900s (up to WW1) particularly interesting, especially the baffling little hobble skirts period that happened. I mean, skirts so tight that you can only take little itty-bitty steps? 1912 was weird.

Though, like you, I found it very hard to find any purely fluffy fics, as I tend to have at least a little bit of angst or at least not-so-fluffy stuff in there.

Plus, not every woman who is into dudes is necessarily straight anyway. She could be demisexual. Either way. Why does it even matter to this anon what you write or ship? Does everyone in a fandom have to agree on everything?

I also forget there are a bunch of sexualities/preferences out there that I’m still having trouble keeping straight (bada-ching! LOL). Thank you, Tumblr, for opening my eyes that it’s not just straight or gay. While I’m shipper trash with pervy leanings, as @blunaowl would attest, but in real life I’m like, please don’t hug me, or no, I don't want to get married, I want to stay single and let my hair flow in the wind as I ride through the glen firing arrows into the sunset.

If you only could write one pairing for the rest of your life, which pairing would it be? TADELSA.

Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order? Start to finish, but I have to sort of plan things out. If I get stuck on a scene, I’ll go to the next scene and write that and see how the two link up.

Do you use any tools, like worksheets or outlines? For short fics, no, but I do currently have a spreadsheet for the S:P timeline, and I use Google Keep a lot to keep notes.

Stephen King once said that his muse is a man who lives in the basement. Do you have a muse? I bounce a lot of ideas off the others in the Tadelsa fandom. Lots of things come from those conversations.

Describe your perfect writing conditions. Day off, cosied up at my PC, tea, nibbles and silent neighbours.

How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting? About three.

Choose a passage from one of your earlier fics and edit it into your current writing style. (Person sending the ask is free to make suggestions). To be honest... I’ve not really been writing for long enough for my writing style to have changed. But I do tend to try and make things a bit longer than the drabble-length chapters I used to post.

Do you beta yourself? If so, what kind of beta are you? I have done, once. I try to be as impartial as possible, but I do tend to focus more on the readability, grammar and spelling of a fic. As a result, if I had a beta, they’d probably need to be someone who looked a bit more at the characters.

How do you feel about collaborations? I’ve clubbed together with others about headcanons or to help with edits, but I’ve not really written something with someone else. I’m not sure if I could manage it, I’d probably get too picky.

Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much. I can’t choose. There are far too many. I know it’s a cop out, but anyone who adds to the Tadelsa fandom is one of my favourites, because they have the guts to post something for the rest of the world to see.

If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose? I wouldn’t want to write a sequel/prequel to anyone else’s fics, I wouldn’t be able to do it justice. There are fics I’d like to see continued - not-so-secret-nerd‘s For The First Time In Never, for example - but if it happens, it happens, and I shall be happy.
