To be fair, It's Armin's fault Annie killed Levi squad and cool horse guy. He noticed Marco's 3dmg and didn't say anything for literal weeks because he a simp. And it was Armin who started Eren's whole freedom ideology by showing him that book and making him realize he's living in a cage. Then there's that gesumin scene where he suggests killing civilians and everyone looks horrified and he tries to pass it off as a joke. The main villain is right there, in the alliance, buying his time. Smh.
