#getting silly on procreate dot png

Hi, this might be a silly question, but how do you get the dotted texture effect on your art? Ive been trying to find a good way to do it for a while now but it feels off when i try

Not silly at all :)

I use procreat so I downloaded some brushes with dotted texture:) (from “true grit texture supply” I think)

I also made some beforehand, there are pretty simple tutorials on YouTube (I just researched “procreate dots brush” and bam!)

If you’re using clip studio then I’m pretty confident there is a brush for that also-

But if you’re using paint tool sai or something of the sort- what I used to do is to go to google, write ”Dot grid png” , save an image and then trace the dots on my program so they will be with no background and in a better quality, and they used it on a masked layer-

It was kinda a tedious way to do so- maybe there are easier way to do it on these programs- but I’m not totally sure- this is what worked for me :>
