Welcome to ghost-vr, a blog run by the most popular ghost hunting duo you’ve probably never heard of - the Half-Life Hunters! Their main goal? To try to figure out what exactly happened to Gordon Freeman back in college.

First picture in front of the new ghost hunting van! It's a bit run down but works just fine. The paint is sort of smudged but I just couldn't wait any longer to drive it around. Darnold has been a HUGE help in starting things up - he even had the smart idea to document what we find on this blog! Feel free to ask us some questions! And if we find any ghosts, maybe you can ask them some stuff too! - Gordon Freeman, (almost PhD but dropped out)

(out loud) So, this is it? It looks, like, a bit different. Huh, well, does it work the same? Just, turn it on and go? Yeah? 

Yup, yeah! Exactly like that! So, just go in and, uh, should work the same. Shouldn’t conflict with the one Tommy’s using, nothing like that! Just uh, find the room that- uh, Doctor? Is in, tell him about it, turn it on, and you should see him! 

I just made it so, it doesn’t, uh... have as high a chance to shock you. And it looks, uh, it’s better to look at. And- oh, yeah, yup, you’re drawing on the smile. Great. Adorable.

Well, hello Gordon! Hello again, anyway! I’m Doctor Coomer. I assume Tommy never told you my name for my own privacy but, since we’re face to face now, I should let you know. 

It’s nice to meet you! 

... Are you feeling okay, Gordon? Gordon?

(over walkie talkie) Sooo, uh, before we leave tonight, uh, can you, uh, come back and- I, uh, I finished the... the, thing, item. That I was, uh, working on and... everything. So, uh, you can, do you want to test it out?

(over walkie talkie) Oh, shit, yeah, I’ll uh, I’ll come grab it. I’ll be right there.

(out loud) Okay, so, uhhh, how do I use this thing then? It looks like a fuckin’, uh, just... a battery octopus or something. It’s...

Basically, all you do is, uh, you turn it on, and it charges the batteries as you go. Non-stop, so, uh, so the ghosts can suckle the- the- use the energy to, uh, to hopefully show themselves easier, without having to go through constant batteries.

Uh, do you wanna give it a try before we go?

I- yeah, sure, that sounds- I guess so, yeah! Do you think they look, like... fucked up and shit? I’m kinda worried about that, I dunno how to be... polite when it comes to like, if I saw a fucked up looking ghost. It feels...

It just feels like it’s gonna be weird to see them, because I have my own, uh, my own imagination of what they look like, and uh, and-

So! Shirts! I actually got the- uh- well, an actual picture of the final shirts. We’ll be getting them shipped in, uh, after we get pre-orders, I guess!

The, uh... PETE one, uh, well... It kinda, uh... they didn’t really, understand what was going on in my drawing. And I tried to do a few different ones, but in the end, I just told them to draw a battery, since, uh, they... did not like whatever the fuck PETE looks like...

And, uh... I don’t really... understand how the... E got... printed, uh, under the... T, but... Well, that’s... what they... got... So...

Probably not one that’ll... really be ordered. They kinda fucked it up.

But otherwise- well, the other two look cool!

And the ghosts in the second one are glow-in-the-dark!

Hello ghost hunters! mind sharing what tools you have to catch ghosts?

This is my time to shine!

So here's a picture of our desk in the van. It's... sort of a mess but I know where everything is. On the left, the box with the colors... that's an EMF reader. Measures electromagnetic fields around the place. It's said that ghosts set these things off more than average household appliances.

The gun-looking thing behind my mug is a thermometer. I think we all know what these do. This thing is gonna test the waters, show you just how cold it can get. Ghosts apparently can make it real cold where they are.

The other square thing is a sprit box. Basically, ghosts have access to a list of words programmed inside and can channel these to talk to us. Sorta like a dictionary, if you want to think of it like that.

We have a few cameras as well which get all their footage downloaded to my computer over there, but we try to keep them in their own bag.

Tell them about our pins too.

Ah, yes! Well, you can see next to the newspaper stuff that Gordon was looking at, that we have a pin. Like the one Gordon has. Uh, well, we were planning on trying to sell these if anyone is interested. It would help support us. Kinda hard hunting ghosts and having another job on the side. Just, uh, in case anyone is interested.
