ayumi was adopted from tokyo, japan by the new money wealthy charleston family - the hilliards. she is the youngest of five adopted siblings. despite the family’s wealth, ayumi worked hard to prove that she was more than her name. her love for cooking stems from her siblings’ encouragement, and their smiles that broke every time they got a taste of her food. she managed to start up her own restaurant in charleston as soon as she graduated from university. but sometimes, life throws curveballs in unexpected ways. curveballs that threw her and her siblings all the way to nashville, to escape the shame the hilliard name has acquired in the past year. it did not sully her reputation for being a proficient chef, evident in her position in the new restaurant she shared with a colleague. but even moving away does not clean up the dirt that followed after her parents’ sin.

ronen's 'glory days' as a biker, in his opinion, are specks of dust in his rearview mirror — and while his younger self's terrifying reputation still precedes him in most public spaces, the roughest thing he's dealt with in a while has been trying to persuade a regular patron to leave their keys with him and take a lyft home from the bar that used to be his former mc's regular haunt. the club dissolved long ago and thanks to his hard work after taking over as owner of the establishment, the bar generally hosts a safer and more homey atmosphere, now. a caretaker at heart, he's been moonlighting as a crisis hotline counselor for about four years, and though he takes pride in his ability to anonymously help those in need, he can't help but feel the ache of something left unfulfilled, the nagging feeling that something's still missing from his life.. something he can’t yet put a name to.

it’s time for another site buzz task! we’ve gotten so many reservations over the past couple of days, which makes us super excited. now that we know a little about our potential members, we want to know about the characters they plan to make! for this second task, we want to see a character introduction, bio, aesthetic, playlist, or moodboard. introduce the type of character you’re planning on bringing to golden hour! this is a super open-ended task that you can interpret in whatever way you’d like. you can introduce one character or multiple, in a single post or more than one. you can do this through graphics, writing, or both. you can give us as much or as little information as you’d like. just be sure to use the tags #ghtask2 and #ghsitebuzz. 

completion of this task will earn you a free premium member group that you can use when the site opens. our premium membergroups will be announced in two days. please note: you can post all the intros you want, but participation in this task is counted on a per-person basis, meaning you will only earn one premium membergroup.
