Dang, the writers of the GI Joe RPG really know what's what with the subtext.

[Text in image: Destro is one of the most popular and important characters in G.I. JOE. Where is loyalties lie impacts your campaign. He's best known as a loyal member of Cobra. Having him around to bark orders at the PCs and verbally spar with Zartan and Cobra Commander and flirt with Baroness and Cobra Commander adds flavor and context to your campaign. However, an independent Destro adds the Iron Grenadiers as an additional dimension. I know you didn't work with that in a while but do you have any G. I. Joe headcanons? I'm curious.

I'm assuming you know exactly who my headcanons will be about, judging by what I have on my blog lol. I know it's been a little while, but I'm still working on another story, albeit slower because I have other projects going on as well. However, I do have many little Snakescar headcanons that I haven't put into a story (yet) and I'm glad for the chance to throw them out there! (Side note these are all based on Renegades)

The first time they met, Scarlett held Snake Eyes at gunpoint because she thought he was Cobra. It left quite an impression lol

Scarlett can handle spicy food better than Snake can.

If Duke were ever to find out what Snake looks like, I think his mind would be blown a little bit that the ninja looks like him (blonde hair, blue eyes).

If Snake could talk, he would talk at 500 miles an hour because Japanese is the fastest language in the world and that would carry over to his English as well. He signs fast instead, and sometimes Scarlett can't keep up.

Scarlett made him learn sign language. He didn't want to at first, but he caved as he grew more attached.

Snake has very calligraphy-styled handwriting.

Snake is good at cooking. Once he warmed up to the others, he and Roadblock might trade recipes.

Scarlett, who is very tech-savvy, is physically pained when Snake leaves a thousand tabs open.

Scarlett sometimes sings to herself while she's working, and Snake likes to listen, to her mortification.

Snake primarily gives Scarlett weapons as gifts (some of which he fashioned himself).

She hunts down genuine Japanese food to give him.

In a future where they are on better terms, Jinx would tell Scarlett embarrassing stories about Snake Eyes. He insists she's exaggerating. Storm Shadow would back her up.

In that same vein, there is a long standing semi-serious promise between Snake and Scarlett about going to Japan one day. When they finally do, it's to get married.

Storm Shadow would begrudgingly accept being a brother-in-law to Scarlett. He acknowledges he royally screwed up Snake's life, and she accepts Snake with his scars and makes him happy.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, though this got pretty long regardless! Hopefully you weren't expecting more widespread headcanons over the Joe roster because these two are my major brainrot fr

Just finished watching G.I. Joe: Renegades for the first time. It was awesome! Wanted to share some of my thoughts on it. Slight spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn't watched yet.

The story was way more interesting than the original series. Not hating on the original, I just liked this story better. Each episode was really fun to watch and the characters were interesting and likeable. I still don't like Scarlett though. Don't think there's a version of her I ever will like. The rest of the Joes were actually cool though.

Pretty obvious that a second season was planned and cancelled, which sucks. I always hate seeing good shows go down prematurely. Especially when the build-up is so good. I want to see Cobra make a comeback! I want to know what's gonna happen with Storm Shadow, Jinx, and their clan. Will Major Bludd seek revenge after losing his eye and his arm? Does Firefly return? Did Destro survive the explosion? Will the Baroness and Mindbender escape the wormhole!? Is Cobra Commander a bio viper hybrid now!?!?! That probably sounds like gibberish to anyone who hasn't watched this show yet. But the point is, I want answers.

Loved the character designs and the modified backstories and personalities! Except Duke. He looked dumb. I think it was the hair. But the rest of them I really liked. They weren't all upgrades but they were good. Made me want to know more about the characters whose backstories weren't expanded on. Like Cobra Commander. Why must his content be so limited? Loved what they did with Serpentor though.

May share more thoughts in the future for nobody to read. Just wanted to get these out fresh. I'm definitely gonna make fan art for this show in the future.

Coming Home

Summary: Snake eyes comes home from a mission. You both show the other how much you missed each other

Pairing: Snake eyes X Reader

Warnings: spicy, but nothing too bad, alludes to smut at the end

This sucks, you think to yourself as you look at your tv. Some movie was playing on it, but you stopped paying attention to it a long time ago. You were too busy thinking about when Snake eyes would get back. He was currently on a mission somewhere with other GI's. You've been trying to do things around the house to keep your mind off of him, such as chores and when all of those were done you resorted to watching tv. However, that hasn't been working out too well.

You sigh as you look at your phone and check the time. You groan in annoyance when you see that it's only six. You put your phone down and try to think of some way to pass the time. You sit there, thinking to yourself for a couple of minutes until you feel your stomach rumble, and you hear it growl in hunger. "Fuck it, I might as well make some dinner," you say to yourself. You stand up and stretch a little bit before you make your way to the kitchen. You look at all the ingredients and food that you have in your kitchen, and decide to make your favorite food. You quickly grab what you need to make it, and you start to make your dinner. You decide to make enough for Snake eyes as well, since you don't know when he'll get back.

You smile as you think about him. You and Snake eyes have been together for a couple of months now, and your relationship has been thriving. Sadly, he was sent on a mission a couple of weeks ago and he didn't tell you when he'd return. You were already used to him having to leave frequently so he could save the world, but that doesn't mean you don't miss him everytime he leaves. You wonder when he'll be back this time. Hopefully it'll be soon.

Unbeknownst to you, the front door opens and someone silently enters the house, closing the door behind them. You don't hear any footsteps coming towards you, as the tv still plays in the other room and you are focused on making dinner. You suddenly feel arms wrap around your waist, and you let out a shriek of surprise as you quickly turn around to face the intruder. You pause as you see Snake eyes standing in front of you. You feel your shoulders sag as you let out a relieved sigh. "Baby, it's just you," you say as you put your hand on your chest. You can feel your heart beating fast from the scare. You frown at the masked man standing in front of you, "you scared the shit out of me."

He leans his head down until your foreheads touch, a silent way of saying he's sorry. You smile at the action and you move your hands to the sides of his head, where his visor's at. "Can I take this and the balaclava off?" You ask. He gives a small nod, and you start to remove the visor and balaclava. As you do this you think about how far you two have come. In the beginning of your relationship, he wouldn't take off his balaclava and you never really pushed him to. You knew that he would let you see his face when he was ready. Soon, after he came back from a tough mission, he moved your hands to his balaclava. You remember that night was also the first time you two ever kissed. You smile at the memory as you finish taking off the balaclava and visor.

The two items however, quickly fall to the ground as he leans in and kisses you. You wrap your arms around his neck as the kiss turns passionate. Soon you open your mouth and tentatively lick his bottom lip, asking him for permission. He gladly accepts and his lips part, allowing you entrance to his mouth. You moan as your tongues meet, and his grip on your waist tightens.

Soon, he breaks the kiss and his attention turns towards your neck. He buries his face in the crook of your neck and starts to leave kisses on it, causing you to moan as he kisses, sucks, and bites your neck. You moan louder, as he starts leaving marks on your neck. You lean your head away from him, giving him even more room to mark your neck. That is until your stomach growls, causing him to stop kissing, and he moves his face away from your neck. You feel your face heat up at the sound, reminding you why you were there in the first place.

He cocks his head to the side as you look away, not meeting his eyes out of embarrassment. "I haven't had dinner yet," you say meekly. Out of the corner of your eye, you see him look towards the food you were using for dinner. He turns his head back towards you, and he places a kiss on your head before he pulls away and lets you go. You reluctantly let him go as well, and you immediately miss his warmth as he moves so he standing by your side. You look between him and the food that will soon be your dinner. "You want to help make dinner?" You ask with a grin. He looks back at you and you see his lips quirk up in a small smile as he nods . You quickly move over and make more room for him as you both start making dinner together.

When you're done making dinner, you both take your plates/bowls to the dining table and sit across from each other. The dinner is full of conversation as you ask him questions about his latest mission, and what you've been up to while he was gone. He nods or shakes his head (signs if you know sign language) as answers to your questions. Soon the meal is done, and he takes your dishes to the sink.

He soon returns, and when he does he envelops you in his arms. You lay your head in the crook of his neck, and you both just stand there silently for a few minutes. Basking in each other's presence. Soon you move your head towards the big scar on his neck, the one right over his vocal chords. You lean in and gently kiss the scar. You feel his body tense for a few seconds at the contact, before it goes slack. "I love you," you murmur against him skin. You feel his arms tighten around you, letting you know he feels the same. You stay there for a few more seconds, before you pull away from his neck, and look up at him. You let out a small gasp as you look into his eyes, and see that they're full of love and affection. Before Snake eyes even has a chance to do anything, you lean in and kiss him. He quickly returns the kiss, and before you know it he's backing you up against a wall, as the quickly becomes passionate again.

His hands slowly move down your body, until they reach your thighs. He quickly taps one of your thighs, letting you know that he wants you to wrap your legs around him. You quickly comply as you break the kiss an jump up, wrapping your legs around his waist and your arms around his neck. He quickly moves his hands under your thighs to support you, not breaking a sweat at the added weight. You smile at him, as you coyly say "shall we take this to the bedroom?" He nods his head, and he starts to make his way down the hall, towards your bedroom. Safe to say, you both stayed up for the rest of the night.
