normal adult watching roach approach probably: it was okay

me watching roach approach: why did they give the roaches such beetle-like designs, they clearly have elytras, thats not right. they even have the triangle thing on their backs (scutellum) oh that is so wrong. why did they give the caterpillar antennae grrrr

#normal adults r NOT watching roach approach. unless ur watching it with ur infant child or something #apparently caterpillar do have antennae but they are very small and by their mandibles.#but cartoon bugs love 2 have antennae at the top of their head.#original nonsense #personal #girl help i cant atop critiquing insect character designs. i think this is why lately ive been drawing so many #cartoon bugs. bc i want there to be 1) more cartoon bugs in the world and 2) more attention to anatomy...#i keep thinking how fun it would be to make potential designs for bin weevils characters of various insects #at this point i think i need 2 be hired as a concept designer for literally anything bug related.#im not saying this like im a bug expert im saying this bc i love bugs. and i love learning about them
