Ive been sooo in love with this character ever since I saw a promo with her in it for girlfriend of steel. There's something about her character design that's just soooo appealing to me not even in like a pretty way but just in how the colors and shapes and expressions work together aaaaa. Just one of those characters that itch my brain ig.

I really wanna do one with her plug suit too...

Remember in Girlfriend of Steel when Kensuke had a crush on Asuka, and approached Shinji like “you already have Ayanami. Please let me take care of Asuka”? Which is already ⁉️ on so many levels. Then, armed with this information, Shinji went up to Asuka and asked “who do you choose, Kensuke or me?” and Asuka was literally speechless. My guy, she never showed an ounce of interest on anyone else. Certified dumbass Shinji moment

I hate the troupe where guys "decide" who a girl will date. She gets a say and she can date whoever she wants!

Asuka and Shinji have amazing communication skills. So good xD

This is part of why I'm not a fan of AsuKen, Kensuke often treats Asuka like she's a prize to be won and cared for instead of a person. He seems interested in her on a superficial level in the spinoffs so it never appealed to me.

I am firmly AsuShin so I'm very biased as well.

So I played Girlfriend of Steel where they basically made oc girlfriend for Shinji (at least she's one of main routes) and even though it was sad I think out of all women in Shinji's life (exluding Kaworu but yk that's my BL ship) she was the most perfect for him despite the game being non canon - in terms of personality at least (and age ofc). It was kind of sad story but I rnjpy3d it (I realized how attached I became to even side characters and especially Kaji he wa perfect support "dad" there)

The only downside of this "dating sim visual novel type of game" is that most of time I couldn't control flow of text and stop it so saving it when you have option to move and explore is crucial (bit ya 90s were different period for games)

fuck it, headcanon time. the psychology siblings and the von karma siblings are insufferable to watch tv with for different reasons -- athena and simon can't stop pointing out mental illness symptoms and diagnosing characters, while franziska and miles just tear into every tiny mistake together with relentless, scathing criticism. people ask the von karma siblings what's the point of watching something if they hate it and they're like "i literally never said that?? i love this show what are you talking about???? i just think that it's inexcusable that the crash mat was slightly visible in that one frame and that the continuity errors with the characters' clothes in that one scene were-"
