We’re Like the Earth and the Sky

Julian Pankratz is just a child when he watches a witcher slaughter his family with no reason and no mercy. After escaping to Oxenfurt with his mother, Julian becomes Jaskier-- a son raised to be his mother’s soldier, good only for seeking revenge on the monsters known as witchers. Trained in combat and fuelled by vengeance, Jaskier eventually meets a witcher known as Geralt of Rivia. After this, a plan unfolds-- to befriend and betray Geralt before the season is through. Jaskier plays the part of a foolish bard as he works with his mother to plan an attack on the witcher fortress of Kaer Morhen. However, Jaskier is forced to question everything he’s ever believed of witchers as strange feelings begin to blind his focus. What starts as doubt becomes something more protective-- and what begins as a dangerous mission turns to a love Jaskier would do anything to defend. A quest for vengeance turns to questions of reality when Jaskier learns that the attack on his family is not all he was led to believe.
