            Glenn Robbins is an Australian actor and comedian who has worked on television and film. He studied drama at college after high school and started performing in 1981. He first appeared on our screens in 1984, appearing on Prisoner and became famous when he appeared on the comedy program, The Comedy Company with his much loved character Uncle Arthur.  

            Robbins has appeared in Lantana (2001), Prisoner (1984), The Comedy Company (1988-1990), Fast Forward (1991-1992), Full Frontal (1993), Jimeoin (1994-1995), The Panel (1998-2007), All Aussie Adventures Russell Coight (2001-2018), and Kath & Kim (2002-2007, Kel Knight). Recently he’s been working on a podcast with comedian Dave O’Neil where they talk about different subjects; it was so successful that it has gained millions of listeners.

            Glenn Robbins is married and lives in Melbourne, Australia. During filming Tonight Live with Steve Vizard, he nearly got killed whilst filming from Blenheim Place, England where he was in an ultra-light plane. Robbins was in one plane with a pilot, and the cameraman in another next to them. During prerecording, the pilot told him that they had to do an emergency landing. Robbins had been wearing a scarf around his neck which got caught in the propeller which could have snapped his neck.
