i headcanon that the hardest species the affini have ever tried domesticating is a race of goatgirls. somehow they can bite through core material and they find all affini grafts delicious, and it's hard to get in range to even drug them because they just bite your injectors off then stare at you with those fucked up eyes of theirs while going monch monch monch

also you literally cannot confine them; no security system has any effect on them no matter how advanced. locked doors? they somehow guess the passcode every time. fences? don't kid yourself, these fuckers can walk up 90c angles like it's a flat surface

bonus points if, in the same way that affini still have an ancient genetic discomfort around fire, they find the way that the goats stare at them incredibly unnerving
