I hope you like Awesamdad because that's all I can think about with pre-prison them!

Saying that Sam had a soft spot for kids wouldn't be quite accurate. He tended to be nicer and more lenient with them, yes, but he hardly got much more attached than that. Well, with one exception...

It all started honestly with admiration. Tommy had just lost the country he'd fought for so hard and had almost been locked away in a box made for him and yet he was up and running again. Asking Sam for help building a hotel, promising pay (though Sam charged him far less than he would have anyone else he was still surprised that the boy delivered) and buzzing with energy and Sam really admired that

He noticed that the boy had a hard time concentrating and doing hard labour (possibly an effect of being so obviously malnourished) so he built a friendly looking robot that had a funny voice to grab Tommy's focus and divided his task in smaller more manageable ones. Tommy seemed to enjoy himself and Sam was very proud of him for the progress

Then came Dream's first confession and Sam felt his heart ache for the kid he'd already grown attached to. He added some functions to the robot. Made sure he would protect Tommy like everyone else had failed to do before. He himself tried to convince his old friends from the Badlands to leave the boy alone

No he doesn't have a soft spot for kids in general, he does however have a soft spot for Tommy and that's okay because the kid really deserves to have someone on his corner after everything...

Do you know why people like C!Sam? I joined the fandom in late April so I think I know the majority of his arc, but I keep seeing posts about him being a father figure to Tommy? Is there something I missed?

The SMP After Lore Tavern

Welcome, have a seat, pull up a chair. What will you been needing for tonight? How about a drink to sooth the nerves? Or maybe an energy drink to power through art/writing at 3 am? Either way, all are welcome, and beware the spoilers you might hear whispered. Sit back, relax or busy yourself, whatever you prefer. (Down below are my thoughts so: Spoilers for 9/14/2021's streams down below)

Alright first off, how we all feeling tonight? Because oh boy that was a doozy but very spicy lore streams tonight. When Philza gave us those crumbs the day before, man Dadza was preparing us for today. Let's get the elephant or pig out of the room right off the bat. Oh my gods, C!Techno's exit against C!Quackity's threats was way too perfectly timed. Like, that guy was ready to deliver a revenge blow and then boom, C!Techno got pulled out of their by C!Philza was poetic. Granted we seriously need to get the old man some glasses already. Next, let's talk about C!Sam's and C!Dream's little chat. If you had "the prison was built for C!Tommy," you win! What do you win? A sad feeling. Well for me, unbridled rage and questioning looks from the public as I mutter how I want to unalive that green Tellytubby, revive him and then do it all over again. Like, that whole thing between them and what C!Sam had told us confirmed our fears and pop off I guess? (once again morals are being put into question and how I feel about certain characters on top of that. I still hate you C!Sam for what you did but at the same time, pop off. And a possibility of him getting slightly redeemed? maybe? Listen, Awesamdad side of me would love this) And that whole thing just gave me more reason to hate C!Dream, that man is twisted, like you cannot come back from that, again. And now comes a big argument of if his treatment in the prison is justified. Personally speaking, with what he was going to do to C!Tommy (which again, was going to be far fucking worse than what C!Dream is facing), I personally say, Karma is a bitch. Don't forget, Karma is both good and bad. I'm very on the fence about this, which is why I end with the statement "Karma is a bitch". Alright, concerns for the future, seeing as the 16th is coming up. Someone on tiktok mentioned this but like, all the nations right now, sort of, are gearing up for a war. Everyone is fighting everyone, and that same Tiktoker said it's gonna be like a cold war. Which when you sit down and think about it, again comparing history here since the SMP loves to do that, yeah, it actually is a viable path. It's pretty clear that everyone is gonna armor up and wait for someone to make the first move. and another reminder, C!TUBBO HAS NUKES. And the missing nuke that may or may not become a concern. And once someone makes that first move, it's gonna be a hot war, which during the cold war era, that was a major concern. But now onto my biggest fear, I'm worried about those kids, specifically C!Tommy, C!Ranboo and C!Tubbo. If folks remember, C!Dream swore to take C!Tubbo's last life and knowing that sadistic green bastard, he'll probably hold himself to that. And a lot of people are pointing this out, but the bench trio were close enough to the prison during the streams where they would have heard those alarms. And honest to the gods, I want to just get those kids out of there, far away from it all. Most, if not all, the adults in the SMP are kinda useless and some seem to forget those are kids and are in serious trouble. Hopefully bench trio honestly gets the fuck out of dodge and just starts their own little thing, far away. In the mean time, baton down the hatches, prepare the doomsday shelters and ready your nukes because this is gonna be a bumpy ride in the burger van.
