Hmm, if they are bringing this name back, I wonder if Dante is actually on the run in this iteration. Like he escaped DARKCOM and took on a new name to try to get his stuff back, the amulet and the sword, and to go look for his brother. Though that makes me wonder if he's gonna do what his dear old pops Sparda did and seal the Demon realm away from the human realm because of the way humans are being. Like hey, maybe it was better to have them separated for everyone's sakes.

One thing that's kinda proving this theory is as I'm scrolling through the clips frame by frame, I can't see the amulet anywhere. Nor his sword.

However somebody did come up in the background of one of those clips. (Sent to me by a friend this time)

Hey Lady, what you up to? So either they let him out and he goes under a fake name or this is post Dante escape and she's with him now. Either way, she is here in the hat, which means he is either on a leash and we'll get some grand escape later. Which gives her more time to develop her character. Oooorrrrrrrrr, you get the point. Either way, they are doing something here and I like it.

Hellooooo! It’s mee! Don’t know why y'all are still here but some fantastic news! As of posting this chapter, a few days ago the Discovery Arc had filled out its last sentence. THAT’S RIGHT! It’s all fully written. The entire arc is done! And to no one’s shock who knows me, of course the arc looked at my word count projections as said “Eh,” and walked all over it. Meaning there are a lot more words than I originally thought. I mean good for you guys, that’s fantastic. For myself, my hands are currently in the compression gloves of shame because I decided to bulldoze through the last chapters. I know my limits, I just looked at the line drawn in the sand and said “I'mma dance all over it.” I’m fine, I’m promise, this is unfortunately normal. 2 other arcs are planned and a 4th is being planned as we speak. I don’t know how many arcs this will be but it’s something. Anyways, we also hit 800 hits! Thank you so much! Seriously this means so much to me.

Anyways, no I'm not shaming people for wearing compression gloves. I need you to understand that when I say "comments are appreciated!" I mean that I will reply to every one of them. I mean that an email with an ao3 notification has a higher priority than a message from my mother. I mean that I will have entire discussions in the comment section if you're up for it. Message me on tumblr and I will have the same discussions on an even more unhinged level. I will dissect entire personalities and ships and fictional political structures and worldbuilding with you. Sat down and actually played a Video Game today . . . . wow, been a hot minute since I've done that. Life would just not let me breathe. Trouble is still brewing in the background but it's calmed for a bit. Anyways the game I played is Planet Crafter and basically redid my base, set up some machines, yelled at the game to give me eggplants for a solid 10, 20 minutes? Died a few times from thirst while making fun of my character from even fainting from thirst . . . . if that tells you anything about my own water habits, no it does not.

Anyways, Steam got a new Screenshots and Clips setting in the actual steam application. Ain't too bad, demo'ed with my base. Thought that might not be my permanent settlement now. Found a fun area up in the mountains, lots of water falls and open space. I was always a moutain boy at heart.

phew, just got done with a cleaning spree induced by partial meltdown? Mania? Panic? no idea, just had anxiety and had to clean. I am tired, took me about 2 ish hours but eh. And by some miracle, while this was happening between 11 pm and 1 am, I didn't wake the house.

Anyways during that put on my comfort playlist of Mianite (oh shocker here he goes again). And just got to the Captain Capsize episode. Man that shit was so funny but exciting. To think there was just some basic stuff going on in the background and then CaptainSparklez happened. The folks behind the scenes knew how to put on a show. And seeing Capsize and Redbeard again, those two were so much fun. Back then it was so much fun being a multi-shipper because it was either Capsize or Syndicate. But regardless, I was giggling the whole time throughout that episode.

Anyways, I'm fine now, if anything about to pass out. Good sleeping tonight and then in the morning, get up and get outside for the weekly trip to the bookstore to work on writing projects.

I Was Eepy and Pissed When I Wrote This

I'm not going to make an essay about this at the moment. But I swear to the gods above and below, I have come across videos and the "Minecraft Scripted Content" topic and so far, all of them make me want to tear my hair out. First off: tell me you don't understand the topic without telling me you understand the topic. And secondly--

ALL THE EXAMPLES YOU ARE GIVING IS TECHNICALLY SCRIPTED. IT'S JUST THAT SOME ARE BETTER WRITERS AND BETTER AT IMPROV THAN OTHERS! AND MORE IMPORTANTLY--

THEY KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER TO MAKE SURE IT'S STILL A FUN STORYLINE! OR IF THEY EVEN WANT TO CONTINUE IT!

FUCKING HELL JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!

I know that there are fake shit out there that is so scripted it's just clickbait. Because after all, we're in an era where clickbait and the fake get views. Which means minimal effort is needed and then they can rake it all in. This kind of shit is nothing new to me. It's just the blanket term and then saying all scripted is bad because of those who are making bad content is just mind numbing. Scripted SMPs are not a new thing and I really wish people would treat it as such. They just got really popular thanks to the Dream SMP and a new wave of them came through. Some good, some bad, hell if you're a Hermitcraft fan you've seen scripted SMP or story arcs long before all of this. Of course season 6 was the big one, but lets not forget what happened beforehand, especially if you're an EvilX (or EX) fan. I need to go back and finish watching all of that. That whole thing may not have been completely scripted but it still was technically scripted. Just, again, some folks are better at it than others. RP SMPs have been around as long as I can remember, any Yogscast fans who remember Shadows of Israphel? Anyways, I might be too harsh here as a lot of these folks are new fans thanks to the DSMP. But if you're gonna talk about a topic, at least do some research, it's not going to kill you. Minecraft existed in a larger capacity before the Dream SMP ya know, don't hurt to look.

This is one of those 'it's a non issue but also a strong opinion' thing that does keep me up sometimes.
