sudden vague war flashback of that time a year or two ago when some rando on twitter (i think????) recommended moulin rouge (the film) to me and insisted id love it and it ended up taking me 7 hours to watch because it was hand on heart honest to god the absolute worst film id ever seen in my entire life. ive seen many bad films but my joy de vivre insists i find something good about them all. there was absolutely nothing good in moulin rouge i hated it so much i forced myself to forget it until tonight apparently

#i wish i remembered why i watched it lmfao im SO sure it was someone on twitter since i used to ask for movie recs #i was liveblogging how cringey and bad it was to my bestie the whole time and i kept having to get up to walk around the house furiously #like it was cringe and the music was all atrocious and the weird orientalism was so ???????#god i hated the music. i despised the music. what a stupid ugly boring film. i spit on it. 0 stars.#rocky horror picture show was better than moulin rouge. and i LOATHED rocky horror.
