finished rewatching LOK for the first time! i've seen the first two seasons a few times but never got around to rewatching the last two. i know it's far from perfect but the ending is honestly one of my favorites out of everything i've seen. even after nostalgia - i have a very fond memory of staying up late to watch the finale when i was 10 and it ended up having the first gay couple i'd ever seen where i was old enough to pick up the Romance(tm) - something about it is just. so nice? it feels like such a natural conclusion and it's artistically So Good. sorry to wax poetic about a cartoon except i'm not, actually

#legend of korra #lok #god i remember going into my sister and i's room and being like 'hey i watched the finale it was good' and she was just like 'yeah cool'#then i told her 'korra and asami ended up together'#and she went 'yeah i know.' in this TONE like. she was on tumblr that night and she wasn't even into lok. it mustve been a sight to behold #but yeah i somehow remembered the lok finale after 7 years better than i remember all of 2018. did 2018 even happen
