Hi there! Welcome to my toomblr. I believe sufficient time has passed since I told a scar anecdote, so I shall tell another one!

I have a fairly deep scar on my left ring finger, which means no life of crime for me. I also have a matching scar on my forehead that is barely visible! It only really shows up if I waggle my eyebrows, thus making me look even creepier than I normally would. I collected them both at the same time by deciding it was a great idea to fall face-first onto a hearth.

There was not a fire going at the time.

So there I am at about four years old, having split my head and finger open on a fireplace because even then, I was phenomenally clumsy. Blood is pouring everywhere (on a white floor! I was popular), my Dad is panicking like crazy, my Nan is presumably telling Dad to calm down and take me to the hospital, and I'm bawling because hey! Splitting your skin open hurts!

Dad eventually calms down and takes me to the hospital (which would be the same one I donated all those bears to in a previous anecdote). Since he is a single father, the nurses all eye him with suspicion and ask several pointed questions. I can only imagine this went like, "Did you want a cup of waDID YOU ABUSE YOUR DAUGHTER?" "NO FOR GOD'S SAKE GIVE HER STITCHES ALREADY."

Eventually I got a couple stitches in my finger and some butterfly bandages on my head, we went home, and I gained another scar to impress the ladies with tell anecdotes about.

the onceler gets his mom to dye his hair for him and afterwards she says he ALMOST looks like he could maybe be her son
