[ID: A digital painting from the bust up of the skyrim companion mod Gore, who is holding his sword in a guard over his shoulder and looking intently just past the viewer.]
The new Taliesin follower mod came out a few days ago, and I can’t wait to see more of his shenanigans with the other potential candidates. Exempt from Bishop, of course.
Please follow @dynamite124 for further development on this sassy Elven man. You will not be disappointed!
guy who crossed the country just to buy a necklace instantly gets roasted by the guy he bought the necklace for
genuinely tho this line got me so good. like yes I thought it would be that easy but I'm so glad it isn't! feels like gore wouldn't even be gore if his romance started with or hinged on a piece of jewelry
Another Skyrim post. Just a little list of my fav companions so far. Most of which anyone who sees this post will already know, but for that small little chance someone on my follow list eventually wants to get into Skyrim again and try some great modded companions, here we go. (all links go to Nexus). And sorry for the not great pics for most of them, going with what I already had plus most don't include my better lighting mods I have now.
Taliesin
Val Serano (added custom hair)
Gore
Remiel
Lucien with added Kitt (fox) in the background
Bonus pics of Gore and Remi drinking together, and my own basic Custom follower (based on friends OC) with Taliesin from my tiny Bosmer's POV.
One year ago today, I posted a picture of a WIP Gore. I had only worked on him for about 3 days before he was up on the nexus. I had never voice acted, written, scripted, or done anything in the creation kit aside from recalc bounds on grass mods. He went up I think with something like 300 lines, and got way more attention than I anticipated, which scared the absolute shit out of me. I spent the next year scrambling to cover everything I think a follower should, learning to voice, learning to code better (my early work is horrific, lol) and pouring my heart into this mod.
I had some ups and downs, mostly dealing with Skyrim itself or my mod list, sometimes other authors or users, but Gore is finally in a place I can be proud of. Thank you all for staying with me, especially those that were there from the very beginning. I'm honored to accompany you in some small part through Gore as you make your way through one of my all time favorite games (that i constantly shit-talk.) I'm honored that you choose to have him at your side. I'm honored most of all to host a small section of this community that has been safe for people of all walks of life. I love doing this work, and I don't plan on quitting any time soon, even if I am thoroughly enjoying my break, still. You're all the best.
