Day6 - Restart

October 10, 2022

The day has been long. I awoke at Grandmercy apartments today, although we went to bed in good spirits, the day transition to another sad day. Why? Because we do not see eye to eye when it comes to what the issue or mission seems to be. But one thing is now clear for me, there’s no going back. There is no more contact imitated by me for whatever reason. No point in beating a dead horse. Today I have to restart. Restarting for me means a new space, new priorities, new hobbies, new friends, and over all a new mindset. It’s clear that the relationships around me are toxic. I am not in alignment with what I strife to be or acquire and for that reality has consistently reminded me. I should’ve never called, I should’ve stayed home. I should’ve never responded. I wish I never met him. As I mark a year after Oklahoma I’m rudely reminded that he was never genuinely cared. I sit alone again left to deal with it alone. It hurts. It hurts bad. This pain will be the reason I stay away. My expectations have lead to my disappointments so I no longer expect anything from anyone. Human decency is no longer expected. I am broken. I will heal. I will continue to work, and grow. I will live with peace one day. But as of today, I end it feeling everything. Better days are coming. Restarting.
