having trouble concentrating cus my roommate had to go to the ER. we're gonna talk about clowns. galette specifically. get ready for your local disaster lesbian undead fae-adjacent clown she has a devil-may-care kind of attitude and likes to instigate; she figures the worst has already happened to her (she had a falling out with her sister and then promptly got murdered), so what's left ?? went out with a punchline that didn't quite land, might as well keep rolling with the joke, right ? under constantin, galette is largely the errand girl. although dangerous as any supernatural clown, constantin sees what galette is unlikely to ever admit. which is that she hates committing violence — lacks the disposition for it given her non-fallen (just dead) clown status. something everyone else is more aware of than galette herself is. and being one of the youngest, alongside sixte, means the gang babies her in their individual ways. she'll say she hates it but that's a lie. :o) speaking of sixte, when the gang first got together galette often felt jealousy over the lazare siblings' relationship. she and her sister used to be close before her life became one big fat joke. it was hard to interact with them at first, but now they and the rest of the gang are like a second family. really makes galette almost something like happy. out of all of them, galette also is the most down to earth, with the best understanding of humans and their emotions. on a scale of babylas (zero) to ten, she's sitting at a good seven. this makes her the first choice for communications if they're dealing with human clients, assuming constantin isn't negotiating directly. even if she'll text complaints to constantin the entire time, she gets the job done. galette is just the type to say a whole bunch of shit she doesn't even mean. she'll say she doesn't care when she does, it's part of how she pushed her sister away.
