Also 100% part of my love for timeloops and cosmic horror is due to this funky dudes story. Also... I think I am now realizing I based Stratos partially on Gravity LMAO.

WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE MISADVENTURE CHARACTER AND WHY!!!!!???

(Yes a shameless plug I know)

OK SO I HAD THIS ALL WRITTEN OUT IN MY DRAFTS FOR MONTHS AND DIDNT REALIZE IT UH ANYWAY HERE’S THE LINEUP

1. Gravity Danger: I’m the most invested in their life, story and what’s gonna happen to and by them because she absolutely terrifies me! I also just love her design and personality and that one fucKING CLIP YOU SHOWED ME THAT SCARES ME SO BAD I JUST WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHATS THEIR DEAL WITH SHADOW AND KEVIN AND AAHDBWEHDJKASDBHSJDKBAEDHJKADEBHAEJKDBEAHDJKEWH

2. Kevin!! Division 2 is probably my favorite and I think thats one of the reasons I like Kevin so much! The world-building in that division alone is incredible and inedible (as much as I wish to consume it). Also, I came in expecting one thing but was met with a very different character and personality but in the best way possible and I love pleasant surprises. Subversion of expectation is a fantastic tool and you my friend wield it like a well sharpened blade

3. Thomas because he’s hated by everyone canonically and I got very into trying to look for hints and clues in the division 1 infographic so I just got very attached very quickly xD also the things you’ve told me about your future projects having him involved have me foaming at the mouth because I desperately wanna know the role he plays

Wait if the twins exist in the 3rd dimension, how DO they survive??? Like, does Bill possess them occasionally to get them away from danger? Does Bill possess some folks to take care of the twins? Do the twins miss being in the nightmare real or do they even know about it???

(I do think that bill as much as he hates the twins being in another dimension he prefers them being there than the nightmare realm since that dimension is slowly breaking apart)

So I'm still figuring some things out but-

The twins were born in Gravity Falls, they cannot leave its vicinity. So no Nightmare realm.

When the twins are awake Bill is very limited in how he's able to interact with them. From the book we know Bill can poses animals freely (unless I misunderstood that whole rat thing), unlike having to make a deal with people.

So I imagine most of the time Bill is following the twins as some sort of animal, like a bird or maybe a deer (though the bigger the animal the more tiring it would be for him). Most of the time Bill just watches them. If there's some kind of danger; dangerous animal, human, or something else- Bill would intervene with whatever animal he's possessing- or he would possess the danger if possible or scare them away. For food and shelter he would have to end up possessing animals (or people) for that as well.

When the twins are asleep (in the mindscape), Bill has total control over everything. Because of this he tries to keep the twins asleep as long as possible- though he usually doesn't get that long.

As the twins get older they develop the ability to 'shapeshift' somewhat, and are able to take a human form (Fords genes came in handy lol). This is both good and bad as they can help themselves more, but they also get into even more trouble now that they can 'properly' interact with people.

Also Bill is unable to posses the twins, its likely to do with them being the same species as him.

I needed an excuse to get myself back on track for all things The Stars and what better way to do it than to answer this art prompt from a comment on the 3rd chapter? The man needs more color in his wardrobe, so let's do that.

Color scheme is heavily inspired by Andor's Mon Mothma & family. My reasoning is that I see their clothes to be a blend of Coruscant and Chandrila, and since Leia and the NR government are both located in Chandrila post-OT I imagine that some of Luke's clothes also come from Chandrila. The man can't wear all-black all the time post-OT, I'm just saying.

That little bit of gray/silver under the collar is the silver chain the mythosaur pendant is hanging from. And as an Asian person I will exploit Star Wars' obsession with E. Asian clothing as much as I want.

but I will say that in this au Weirdmageddon happens earlier and bill tricks dipper into breaking the rift instead (with his bare hands, the silly lil guy). Oh and when dipper broke it, the glass kinda exploded in his hands and made this gash on his hands. The intergalactic goo(???) inside the rift poured into the wound, which cannot be good for him, haha. Wonder if that has anything to do with the other two drawings, hehehe

And if I told you this ask has held a grip on me for a while it would be underestimation.

man i love that character. you know, the deeply paranoid author who made a pact with a dark entity that ultimately ended with him stranded in another dimension separated from his loved ones for years at a time? takes place in the pacific northwest? has twin imagery associated with him and a reoccurring specific piece of symbology related to the unfortunate situation they're in? doesn't ever explain the reasoning behind his actions and instead just kinda goes "bro trust me"? yeah he also wears an outer layer of clothing with elbow pads on it, that one.
