One of my favorite things about being Christian is being able to say joyfully, genuinely, and hopefully to all my enemies “See you in heaven!” because in a world of “see you in hell” and “kys” and “the world would be better without you” I’d choose “never give up on yourself, this world is better with you in it, it is never too late for you to embrace the God-given goodness inside you, and I would be so excited to discover I was spending eternity with you” every single time.

#I swear the amount of people I see saying kys on this website who claim to be mental health aware and progressive #and adults saying it to minors too! Just block people I don’t understand how you don’t see the irony here #Also Christians who love telling people to “just wait until they’re in hell” for whatever it is they do or “see you in hell”#That’s so boring #By the grace of God’s hope and love I’ll see you all in heaven #And we’re all gonna be happy about it too #My favorite part of CS Lewis’s the great divorce is when a guy in hell sees a guy in heaven #and starts yelling at him like “why are you in heaven? #bandit's doodles #grian #mumbo jumbo #waffle duo #new au #ratatouille waffle duo au #remy Grian and red haired guy Mumbo #thoughts?#the website itself was fine #it had that color selection square which was great #cool brushes #the selection tool was a little odd but it worked so that’s something #there was no eraser again #not that I could find anyway #and trust me I looked long and hard #I just used white over things #but jeepers #the crashing #every time I tried to change the brush size or the opacity #or used the selection tool to rotate or move anything #it crashed #and when it crashed it like froze #and the only way I got out of it was by reloading the website #or closing the tab completely #which clears the canvas #so the first doodle was actually it’s 5th iteration #3/10 including the lag #there’s a chance it was me though #so excluding the lag 6/10 #I’m feeling generous I think

i'm not at ALL asking that we model our political campaigns any further on US politics than we do already... but there are incredibly pivotal elections in Saxony in a MONTH and the only sign of it is election posters - and the extreme right has clearly spent way more money on those than all the other parties. For every lamp post with a Green party or SPD poster, there's another lamp post with FIVE AfD posters in my neighbourhood, or one for a tiny extreme-right splinter party full of batshit insane claims like "Free State (official term for the state of Saxony) instead of caliphate". The AfD paid for huge posters all along the university campus, which is so concerning to me. Also, every month or so there's some bizarre AfD party newspaper or flyer in my mailbox. Only AfD.

On state news, it's CRICKETS. On the mdr website, there's one big header, and it's about the summer holidays.

I got my voting papers in the mail yesterday. I live in the state capital. Where are the reports? Where are the politicians? Where are the public events? Am I *that* out of touch with public life here and they're happening and I just haven't heard about it?

I honestly feel insane. Polls are saying we might get a majority for the AfD and uh. Where is everyone? Elections are in THIRTY-ONE days and nobody seems to be having a conversation about it what the fuck

#they're planning a big demonstration on 25th of august and like #that's great!#it will not change the mind of the voters who don't go to these things and have been convinced the left are all hooligans #why aren't we fact checking afd promises??#half their posters promise to change things that are federal business. it has nothing to do with this election #ONE relevant talk at the big museums #the conservaties are holding a beergarden chat with the minister president #the green party is apparently starting their campaign tomorrow but the saxonian spd literally says 'NO EVENTS' on their website #like guys i know it's looking dire but IS IT ANY WONDER IF YOU DROP THE BALL THIS HARD #politics #germany #saxony #sachsen #WHY
