My spring project will be all about narrowing down the best spot in the apartment for my anthuriums. I actually was thinking a lot about hanging them from hooks and I even started placing some in my @wallygro planters. Even though I think the octagon basket I was using for the anthuriums was a success it’s drying out way to quickly for me to keep up with. I’ve also been debating changing up the medium I have them in. Currently, the majority is in sphagnum moss and I’m thinking of adding more charcoal and orchid bark in with the sphagnum. Happy #philodendronfriday everyone✨! Here is my recovering Philodendron ‘white wizard’ 🔮 It essentially arrived more so as a cutting then a rooted plant, so I popped that beaut in some sphag moss then into a octagon basket and finally right into one of my favorite @thesill pots🥳! If your noticing some of the yellowing it’s seems to me that the plant is starting to lack nutrients and needs to be moved into soil or given some fertilizer. I think I’m going to end up transferring it to a nice soil mix but probably still keep it in a fairly small nursing pot. I’m keeping those roots nice and snug so they grow 🙌 :: Also I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my nail/nail care would you guys like some stories on what I use ? This corner of the apartment I would consider gets the “best view” do to it’s south western exposure. Light lingers here the most throughout the day so some heavy rollers like the aroids you spot in the photo get first dibs at the spot. Back in May, @ikeausa came to visit and the whole experience was pretty amazing. I loved that they wanted to focus on where we actually LIVE in the apartment. Photographed here is where I spend the majority of my time in the space. It’s the perfect corner to turn and view all my plants and it’s of course where my computer is which is where I do all my work and play video games with Micah🎮Also, a major part of my day is spent with Pachino starring at me 😂 You can check out those articles anytime using the links in my bio👯‍♀️ I’ve also been actively trying to reconfigure the plants in the apartment. There are way more plants then there was back in May, and a lot of the collection really took off over the summer. I feel like I’m always trying to improve my bedroom space. Usually, it’s about rearranging plants like I did here in this corner, but this month it’s been all about improving my overall air quality. So, I was so happy I was able to try out @levoitlifestyle Air Purifier Vista 200 for over a month now and happy to report that it has helped drastically with dog odor, some plant must smell (due to humidity) and even my crazy neighbors smoking!
