Chapter 9: The Eye of the Storm

No one remained by the tunnel’s entrance, leading Lexa to hope the Polisians who evacuated the city before the tsunami hit had made it out in one piece. However, it seemed an aftershock had since gotten the better of the weakened structure. Tivy’s headlights showed rocks of various sizes all over the road.

“Should we go on foot?” she asked hesitantly. There wasn’t enough space for Tivy, and they would likely be forced to abandon the horses, but pedestrians could climb over the debris and wiggle between the larger boulders. In theory…

“We shouldn’t,” Clarke answered after worrying at her lower lip with her teeth. “There’s no way to know if the path ahead is clear, and without Tivy, we won’t have any light. Besides, if another aftershock hits, we could be buried alive.”

“Fuck. What do we do then? Go over the mountain on foot? It will take us ages, but it’s doable. Xanthus and Balius can carry the weakest among us.”

Clarke sighed long and low before grabbing her laptop. The keyboard click-clacked as she tapped away almost brutally. Lexa wanted to smooth the furrow between her brows with her thumb before it became permanent, but it was neither the time nor the place.

“All right,” Clarke said a minute later. “The good news is Mount Weather is still pretty quiet. There are minimal gas leaks, which is concerning, but not enough to indicate an eruption. We should be good to stay while we wait for help.”

Miracubots: Miraculous Holders (Humans)

Since this has gotten a little attention and seems to have gotten people curious I'll continue inflicting this AU on you XD

For a while Beetletron and Felidae Fatale are the only heros running around Griffin Rock doing what they can to obfuscate their identities. It helps that due to Cody in his hero form looking like a miniature Rescuebot, has people believing he's a smaller more advanced model of bot with an AI controlling him and Felidae acting as his handler.

And has the Bot's thinking he's a Minicon running around with a human friend. Cody is absolutely having a blast dropping hints that he and the bots are related and Plagg is pouting that Tikki got the holder who's causing the most Chaos.

As the fights start escalating Master Fu starts trying to teach Cody about the Miraculous and being a guardian....Only for Cody to insist either Frankie be there in the lessons to, or he'd just teach her behind Fu's back. Yup, no one person being Guardian over the other, Cody and Frankie are equals.

As part of the training Fu allows them to take the Turtle Miraculous to find someone that would be a good temporary hero. Unfortunately, during an Akuma attack the Turtle ends up being lost...And Priscilla Pync is the one to find it.

Priscilla at first mostly uses the Turtle as somewhat an escape from her life under her mothers thumb and while Terraprincess isn't much of a fighter and rarely turns up for Akuma attacks, she's been finding her footing acting to evacuate people from fights and acting to help with the more natural disasters of the island.

(We very much want Priscilla to be somewhat of a fusion of Adrien with the villain as their parent, and the redemption Chole deserved learning how to be a hero through Wayzz)

Fu is not happy with the pair for losing one of the Miraculous, even if it found it's way to a heroic individual and intended on preventing them from using any of the others for a while to teach them a lesson.

This is till an Akuma fight where as Cody's rushing to the scene...He's stopped by Plagg holding the ring, explaining that...The Akuma's Frankie, and she ordered him to take the ring and run when she realized what was happening.

Ya, being a Miraculous holder isn't a get out of jail free card in regards to Akumas. Though we've gone with the interpretation that 'A Holder if they have the mental fortitude CAN keep secrets from Swallowtail' to explain why they get given their Miraculous again.

And Cody, finding out his best friend, his platonic other half and his partner in crime fighting is the one Akumatized...Has a bit of a panic attack, freaking out at the thought of not only fighting his best friend, but having to fight her alone. It's to the point, Plagg has to get him to transform back so Tikki can help calm him. And she has a plan.

Give someone else a Miraculous to help.

And she even knows the perfect person to give it to.

Thus Chief Charlie Burns, becomes the first offical Miraculous Hero after Beetletron and Felidae Fatale, using the Horse Miraculous to become the cowboy inspired hero Ranger. With Rangers Help their able to beat Haywire and Deakumatize her back into Frankie, she feels guilty about the whole thing and resolves to work even harder as a Hero to make up for it.

The second Burns family member to be entrusted with a Miraculous is surprisingly Graham. as when this universes version of Evilistrator is created, Cody and Frankie considering their options realize, if the Akuma can create ink creatures out of nothing, why not fight fire with fire?

Thus Graham is picked to become Capricorn the holder of the Goat Miraculous and is able to create objects to counter each creature Evilistrator creates till the Akuma runs out of pages in his sketch book and can be then taken out.

Hot on his heels Dani is tapped to become the Bee Hero Hornet to help deal with a super fast Akuma wreaking havoc all across the island. Dani absolutely loves her Hornet get up, it even comes with bee wings that she can use to actually fly!

Kade is the last of the Burns family chosen to be a hero but that doesn't make him any more or less valued then the other. Just that the Ox needed a real challenge that called for it's power. And when an Akuma is able to cause a time dilation effect around it. well. Bullocks ability to utterly no sell any magic that tries to effect him is really your only sane choice now isn't it?

Reasoning for Rescue Bots in Earthspark: Optimus Prime gave them this mission - I mean, they took on emergency vehicle alt modes that they liked and became associated with a subdivision of GHOST that deals with local emergencies. They are based in an New England town (ES's version of Griffin Rock) and work with human emergency workers in trying to strengthen human-Cybertronian relations. Unlike Rescue Bots, it's pretty much in the open that they are Cybertronians working with humans and vice versa. Jon Schloder knows of them, but knows better than to bug them since they have bigger emergencies to deal with. In a pinch, they can be sent out to various parts of the world to help with natural disaster relief and recovery as well as evacuations.

Exactly what I was thinking!!!!!

They're exactly the type of mecha you'd think would be in Earthspark, especially considering how long the cybertronians have been out to the world

TWOIAF/Fire & Blood: The Doomed Rebellion of Aegon the Uncrowned

Warning, Spoilers Ahead…

Maegor Targaryen had put down the rebellion of the Faith. He lingers in Oldtown after reuniting with Ceryse Hightower, his first wife.

Prince Aegon, later known as Aegon the Uncrowned, ignores his wife’s advice of “run away and live peacefully”, instead choosing to attempt to overthrow Maegor. What is driving Aegon? Entitlement? Vengeance? Jealousy? A sense of duty?

Aegon and Rhaena leave Casterly Rock and sneak into King’s Landing, concealed beneath snacks of corn. Rhaena retrieved Dreamfyre while Aegon claimed Quicksilver. Aegon is now a dragonrider. Why did Aegon wait so long to claim a dragon? Did he have no interest until necessity demanded he have a dragon? Maegor waited longer but he was laser-focused on Balerion, who is unique in the pantheon of Targaryen dragons.

The duo was aided by unnamed “friends in Maegor’s own court who had grown tired of the king’s cruelties”. No details are given on the nature of Maegor’s cruelties. Maegor’s “cruelties” have only been noted against his opponents in the field. The exceptions are the beheadings of the Grand Maesters, an alleged stories of animal abuse (and a stablehand?) as a child. The decapitations were unnecessary and are indicative of Maegor’s violent impulses. The cruelites…I want details…was he like Joffrey Baratheon in tormenting people when he was bored/annoyed?

Aegon and Rhaena returned to the Westerlands to assemble an army. The Lannisters (wisely) refused to openly support the duo’s cause so Aegon’s adherents gathered at Pinkmaiden Castle, seat of House Piper. Jon Piper, Lord of Pinkmaiden, had pledged his sword to Aegon because his Melony, his fiery sister, won him to the cause. Aegon denounced his uncle as a tyrant and usurper and called upon men to rally to his banners.

The following came: The Lords Tarbeck, Roote, Vance, Charlton, Frey, Paege, Parren, Farman, Westerling, Lord Corbray of the Vale, the Bastard of Barrowton, and the fourth son of the Lord of Griffin’s Roost. Ser Tyler Hill, a bastard son of Lord Lyman Lannister, arrived from Lannisport with five hundred men. The Piper levies were led by Melony. The assembled forces were around 15,000.

No great lords rallied to Aegon’s cause. Queen Tyanna wrote to Maegor and warned him that the lords of Storm’s End, the Eyrie, Winterfell, and Casterly Rock were in communication with Alyssa Velaryon. The lords wouldn’t commit until they were certain Aegon could prevail. Some might see this as cowardly, but it is a smart approach. Why waste thousands of lives on a doomed rebellion? At this point, Maegor has only acted against Houses that rebelled against him. Add in the fact that Aenys was a disaster as a king and I can see why the great lords were hesitant to grant their support.

Maegor’s strength is warfare. In no time at all, he had a plan in motion to end this rebellion. Maegor devised a plan that had forces coming for Aegon from every direction: Lord Harroway from Harrenhal, Lord Tully from Riverrun, Ser Davos Darklyn of the Kingsguard marshalled five thousand in King’s Landing and struck out west, Lord Peake, Lord Merryweather, and Lod Caswell came up from the Reach.

Aegon soon found armies closing in on all sides. He didn’t know what to do (shades of Aenys). Lord Corbray, an experienced commander, advised Aenys to split their forces and meet the opposing forces individually. Aenys vetoed the motion and kept marching the entire force towards King’s Landing.

Aegon found the Davos Darkyln’s forces waiting for his south of the Gods Eye. Lords Merryweather and Caswell were advancing from the south, and Lords Tully and Harroway from the north. Aegon mounted Quicksilver to lead a charge when Balerion appeared in the southern sky.

For the first time since the Doom of Valyria, dragon battled dragon. Not that it was much of a battle. Picture Luke vs Aemond from the HOTD season 1 finale.

The battle between the ground forces were bloody and brief. The rebels realized their cause was doomed once Aegon died. By the end of the battle, a thousand of the rebels had died but only one hundred of the Maegor’s men. Among the dead were: Lord Allyn Tarbeck, Denys Snow the Bastard of Barrowton, Lord Ronnel Vance, Ser William Whistler, Melony Piper and three of her brothers, and Ser Davos Darklyn (slain by Lord Corbray).

The next six months were filled with trials and executions.  Queen Visenya persuaded Maegor to spare some of the rebellious lords but all lost lands and titles and were forced to give up their hostages.

Final thoughts on Aegon: Foolish and impatient. He had neither the intelligence, experience, nor strength to win against Maegor. He should have stayed under the radar and slowlu gathered alliances and waited until Maegor had eroded the last of the population’s goodwill/patience. Imagine if Aegon had waited until the death of Visenya and then claimed Vhagar? Now you have the power to fight Maegor and Balerion! Poor Quicksilver only knew pleasure rides, Vhagar knows how to fight!

Alright, now that I'm off from work, I'm sorry, I was going to ask you earlier, but uh. TBH, it's been a bit of a whole year for me :'D. One of the things I really wanted to talk about before taking the Rescue Bots and running was the setting of Griffin Rock itself, since in my mind it's pretty isolated and I wanted to get an ok for the setting before doing anything with characters. Also, this is going to get a touch long, whoops.

I had the idea that whatever Quint experimentation happened around that area, created a bit of a kind of time bubble/pocket dimension surrounded by the absolutely most rancid uninhabitable land that is a nightmare to cross if you don't know the area. Plus rather constant natural disasters. The people of Griffin Rock were pretty cut off, and pulled together into an incredibly tight knit community. Since they had access to Quint tech that no one else was able to nab, they were able to make some pretty impressive tech leaps that allowed them to actually find out what was going outside their bubble.

To say it was a bit distressing is a bit of an understatement, and it was pretty collectively decided to stay in their lane and do the best they could with what they had.

As they watched crap hit the fan, there was a growing urge to try to do something because they couldn't be isolated forever, and one Chief Charlie Burns reached out to Omar Parvez with an offer of aid, supplies, and a place to build a secure base.

The Griffin Rock base functions as a logistics stop, providing food and a small amount of munitions, as well as a training place for extreme conditions/survival. There is a very small set of troops stationed there permanently, as well as providing a pretty safe space for non-combatant autobots. Once you get used to the constant natural disasters.

So Mr.Burns is the police chief and the father of the Burns family and he is a lot like plo Kloon and I really think y’all would love this show

but I think this would be a really great place for the clones to be safe in and relax, have some shenanigans. HELLA SHENANIGANS. But the 501st, the 212th, the 104th and the Coriscant guard are definitely in this, fuck it the alpha arcs are there too.

But I really want waxer and boil to interact with mr. petty paws the cat, and for whatever reason unbeknownst to the locals Ms.Neaderlander loves the two boys. Waxer: *picking up the cat and petting him* Boil: huh, that’s a funny looking loth cat.

Or the one kids nickname is Cody and I want a scene she his dad, Chief burns is trying to find him and yells “CODY” and commander cody who was near by just turns on his heels and is like “yes chief burns?” And the chief is like no not you, my son, thank you tho. And Cody’s like :( what am I chopped liver and chief just sighs.

Bolder trying to teach the clones how to pain and Dogma loves it. Dogma would also love Chase and not at all because they would talk about da rules, no no, I think they have that somewhat in common but Dogma would more find comfort in the fact that Chase isn’t very spontaneous, he’s calculated, trustworthy and likes to do things step by step and I think Dogma would vibe with that.

When Danny cooks everyone crys except Sinker because he will eat anything, I think he would also eat the expired bunker spam on purpose.

Oddball and the other pilots help Blades be less afraid of flying and teaching him different maneuvers.

The 501st getting lost in the tunnel system and accidentally end up walking all the way over to dinosaur island and get to see cool crystals and almost get eaten by the dinosaurs. Hardcase when he finds out the crystals are highly flammable: *explosion thoughts intensity*

Heatwave and Wolffe would get into a snark off contest.

I fell Alpha-17 might enjoy the trails that run through Griffin Rocks wilderness. He would maybe make friends with the local black bear population on accident because he didn’t know what they were and that they were not friendly and he walked into one on a hike and he was like🧍damn that’s a big ass dog, a funny looking fellow really, ay buddy do you want this cliff bar? And the bear is like 🧍wtf is this guy doing, should I eat him? But eventually 17 and the bear are buddies and he brings the bear back and is like “hey chief check out the dog I found “ and chief is like “how many times do I have to tell everyone no dogs-👁👄👁”

Wooley,soup, and toast would be fascinated with the bakery

They all participate in the Burn family tradition of game night weather they like it or not

Kix, Fives, Hardcase, Jesse, Hevy, Boost, Gree, Oddball, Gregor, Neyo, Thorn and Barcara would participate in helping test doc Greens weird little machines

Every Friday is disco and karaoke night at one of the local bars and they all go out and party. They also like going to the roller skating rink where they can also jam to 2011 type pop.

Rex, Monnk and Ponds enjoy chief Burns company and like going fishing with him and going out on the boat.

So sorry it’s late. ;u; The prompt was Blades helping Bee unwind by taking him somewhere scenic on Griffin Rock. In the end, it ended up being more about how they got to going somewhere scenic than the actual scenic location, but I hope you enjoy it all the same! I also included a reference to one of the other prompts of Optimus relaxing, because I almost did that one instead. Yes, absolutely, Optimus needs a vacation. Let this mech rest.

“…And that’s the plan to get Bumblebee to stay at the Academy full-time when he comes to visit tomorrow!” Blades said with a flourish, gesturing once again to a map of Griffin Rock, pinned haphazardly to the wall of his quarters and absolutely slathered in sticky notes, looking to Cody for a reaction.

Blade’s map included the site of every daring adventure Rescue Team Sigma-17 had gone on (that Bumblebee hadn’t accompanied them for).  A variety of other dangerous locations were also noted, and Blades seemed a little too hopeful something bad would happen at one of them during the tour… not that there was any way said tour could really be completed in a day; it had taken the copter-bot all afternoon just to explain it. Cody smiled, concerned but amused. “I thought Bumblebee already agreed to teach full time?”

Blades straightened up and stammered. “W-Well, I mean, technically yes, but I need to show him just how exciting Griffin Rock is so he doesn’t even think of changing his mind!” 

Cody leaned forward in his seat on Blades’ berth. “But what happened to all of the things you said you wanted to do with him when you had time? You never got to sing karaoke together, or play video games, or just… take a walk and catch up without some disaster cutting you o-“

“Booooring.” Blades waved his hand dramatically. “I told you I wanted to do those things years ago¸ Cody! You were like… half your height!” He crossed his arms and took a dignified stance. “I’ll have you know you’re not the only one who has matured since then.”

“Uh huh.”

It only took Cody staring his old friend down for a moment for Blades to sink on his pedes. “…And, well… Bumblebee is a war hero now. I mean, he already was, and of course even before that he was my hero, but now he’s saved Earth and Cybertron twice! Which means his tour has to be twice as impressive! I still can’t believe he’s going to be coming here to teach with us when he could be signing autographs or going on late-night talk shows, or… or…”

Blades’ started pacing. Once again, Cody knew, Blades was overthinking things, but saying that would just make him overthink more. He frowned and tried to choose his words carefully. “It just doesn’t seem like you included much time to be yourself and spend time with your friend.” 

(And obvious crush, Cody thought, but he wasn’t going to open that can of worms when Blades already looked like a single additional atom of anxiety could make him shatter like glass. Now was not the time to meddle.)

“Whaaaaat, of course I did! I’ll be giving him the tour and being my whole, extremely cool and heroic self the entire time!” Blades looked at the map again, perplexed. “Was something in my pitch not clear? Do I need to go over it again?”

“N-No!” Cody shot up from his seat with placating hands. “No, I got it the first time, buddy, and I just remembered I have… a thing. In a place. Somewhere el-”

Cody was saved from thinking up an elaborate excuse by a knock at the door.

“Blades? You in there?”   

It was Bumblebee. 

Blades squeaked and looked at the wall clock. 6:30! Bumblebee arrived half an hour ago and he wasn’t there to welcome him! The medic scrambled to the door of his room, Cody all but forgotten, smashing the button to slide open the door. “B-Bumblebee! You’re here!”

“Is everything okay? Figured you’d be outside when I-”

“When you got here! Right! I meant to be and then I just…” Blades put his hands on his helm in a panic. “I am so sorry, I-!”

Bumblebee stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Blades, cutting his flailing friend off and chuckling. “Easy, pal. I was just worried is all.” 

“…Oh,” Blades responded meekly.  Bumblebee pat him on the back and Blades sunk into the reunion hug, returning the embrace with a tight, long squeeze before backing away. “Yeah, I was…uh…” He rubbed the back of his helm sheepishly. 

Cody smirked. “Blades was just telling me about the elaborate tour he was going to take you on, all over Griffin Rock, just the two of you.” 

(Okay, maybe now was the time to meddle just a little bit.) 

Blades’ fans clicked on and he glanced at Cody with equal parts betrayal and flusterment before turning his attention to the map that had looked brilliant up until the moment Bumblebee entered the room and now looked like the rambling mess of a crazed fanbot. But Bumblebee had seen it, no turning back now. “Right! Exactly!” Blades scrambled over to the map and gestured to it. “There’s so many places I wanted to show you and so many stories I haven’t told you yet! I figured tonight you’d get settled in, and then tomorrow we could start at Old Canyon Road. One time, Jerry was transporting a truck full of chattering teeth and uranium, and…”

Bumblebee stared at the map with a flat expression and drooped optics. 

“…You don’t look excited.” Blades frowned.

“Oh, uh, it looks awesome Blades,” he said with a forced smile, “and we should totally go check all of these things out, but…” Bumblebee chose his words carefully – Blades had clearly put a lot of effort into this, no matter how casual he tried to act about it now. As it was, he felt bad for not putting on a face for his friends’ sake sooner. “Was the plan to do all of this in one day?” 

“…Too much?”

Bumblebee smiled, amused, much like Cody had before. “Maybe a little.” The helicopter sighed and his shoulders slumped. “Hey,” Bumblebee put a hand on Blades’ shoulder. “I’m not shooting it down or anything, but what’s the rush? I’m here full time now, remember?”

“I know, but…” Blades looked away from Bumblebee, to Cody, who coaxed him to keep going. “Bumblebee, you’ve gone on so many amazing adventures and saves worlds and I’ve just… I can fit nearly everything I’ve done on this map. I just thought if I didn’t show you how exciting life with us can be right away, you might change your mind and go find something cooler to do.”

Bumblebee stared at Blades for a moment. He always knew Blades looked up to him, but how long had he been feeling this down on himself? “Blades,” Bumblebee closed the distance between them, smiling softly. “I didn’t agree to teach at the Academy because I thought every day would be some big adventure. Heck, if I’m honest, I’m kind of glad that I can finally relax a little, you know? Even Optimus has been taking it a little easier.”

Blades blinked at the idea of Optimus relaxing, momentarily distracted by the strange mental image of the idolized titan chilling out with a data pad in an oil bath with a cup of high-grade. In a less serious discussion, he wouldn’t have been able to keep a straight face, but they could talk about that later.

“None of us wanted to be fighting a war forever,” Bumblebee continued. “Besides, Griffin Rock is a nice place and all, but I didn’t come here for the island…”

Bumblebee took Blades’ hand in his with a gentle squeeze, and Blades’ optics instantly locked onto his incredibly soft ones.

“…I came here to spend more time with the people I care about.” 

Blades almost fainted right then and there, because when did the bot he admired more than anybody else come to care so strongly about him in return? “O-Oh… In that case… maybe tomorrow we could take a walk and catch up…?” Blades stared at their hands for a moment, and found himself emboldened to interlace their fingers, but once he had he didn’t have the nerve to look up at Bumblebee’s reaction.

(Cody smiled and quietly made his exit while the two bots were focused on each other. Now was definitely the time to meddle.)

But, after a moment that felt like an eternity, Bumblebee bent down into Blades’ field of vision, smiling.

“Why not now? You can’t tell me you don’t know a great place to watch the sunset around here. Then after, maybe we could finally get around to that karaoke session you always talk about?”

And with the way Bumblebee looked at him, the way he said that – his hushed voice and piercing optics - it almost sounded they were discussing a date. 

Or maybe Blades’ imagination was getting away from him. Either way, he knew his answer.

“That sounds perfect.”

I have a lot of newer OCs I need to draw and flesh out more... I wanted to just ruminate and nonsensically blurb on my brain vomit a bit. Probably flesh out everything better later. I've got:

A western diamondback cowboy naga lady called Ginger and her human ex-cop gf Anise. They end up becoming bounty hunters on the run, with frequent run-ins with the police department, especially Ginger's adolescent years ex, a saloon star and wife to the sheriff, Miss Shelly. Focuses on disaster gays and fun cowboy hijinks.

A sweet leucistic axolotl girl named Ana, who gets roped into a crime ring to be exploited for her regenerative properties for clients--both for organ donations and snuff. She ends up being rescued by a ripped-ass Komodo dragon henchlady (no name yet so I'm calling her Beef) who can't stand to see her suffer, and they end up falling in love while on the run from mobsters. Lots of trauma stuff and reassuring vore, and also some rougher stuff.

A ball python witch woman named Clover who is almost eaten up by a mercenary called Vaultine, an american alligator who was seeking her bounty. He realizes she isnt the bloodthirsty witch rumours portrayed her to be and decides the money isn't worth it. She offers him dinner and they become fast friends, Vaultine sharing he is the dead Swamp King's heir, the kingdom overtaken by the tyrant Sinistar, who dark shadow is fast spreading across the continent. Cue adventure to save the world and get Vaultine his rightful throne back and avenge his family.

My darling and I's nagasonas, mine is a Kenyan Sand Boa nicknamed Slinky and his is a Brazilian Rainbow Boa, nickname pending. She's a little bigger than human sized, but he's more on the high end of minigiant. There's also an AU where he's a human wizard out in the woods who finds Slinky in his garden and she fits in his hands...they become friends, fall in love and go on magical forest adventures.

Herpetologist and ecologist married couple who investigate the Floridan wetlands six years after the Grand Cataclysm, a dimensional event that opened portals around the world and allowed monsters of myth and legend into their reality. They come across a cruel and beautiful naga, a powerful cosmic mage among the Old Ones in his dimension. They later all fall in love, meet a territorial alligator-taur woman and have a really wholesome polyamorous quad romance. Together they dive headfirst into cryptozoology and start investigating the monsters and the Grand Cataclysm--and what it all means for Earth and humanity.

Y'all want some TFA Rescue Bots headcanons? Too bad, you’re getting them anyways. 

First off is Heatwave, who was formerly a Decepticon named... Heatwave. Very edgy, liked to burn shit down, a little on the short side for a 'Con, and not all that raring for the cause; one could tell his spark wasn't all in it and he was going through the motions on a cyclical basis. He got abandoned by his team and left for dead but was found by Chase, who argued with the council that Heatwave could be redeemed and set out to make that his mission. Heatwave hates feeling like he had to be put on a leash to be trusted and somewhat resents the thought that he had to "prove himself" to a group of people he'd probably never see again.

Then there's Blades, my sweet boy. He's a triple-changer, and (silently) vocal about the misconception that they're all evil and prone to bursts of violence out of the blue. Unfortunately, poor kid's too shy to speak out about it and usually keeps to himself about his own condition, claiming his blades are kibble from his vehicle mode. He works/worked as an IT guy until Chase roped him into his squad.

Boulder's a cool guy. He's an art historian and archivist, working tirelessly to help piece together Cybertron's history by recreating and restoring busted art pieces. He doesn't get a lot of sleep because of this, but he doesn't mind... as long as he doesn't drift into the wrong lane from exhaustion. Really, really can't stand Sentinel Prime and it took everything in his power to not superglue a strongly worded letter to his face when he proposed a budget that gave less than one percent to the arts.

Chase... is someone I don't really have a lot of thoughts on, but he's the reason they're all together, whoop. He relegated Heatwave the leader when he realized he was a bit too stiff for the humans.

As is the usual case with Animated characters, they crash land on Earth through a space bridge onto the tourist trap of an island known as Griffin Rock. The Burns family (sans Cody) know from the start that they're aliens and go through with becoming the town’s sole protectors from the various daily perils in spite of the cries of nepotism. The Rescue Bots don’t really give a damn; they’re just happy to finally be somewhere that isn’t under Cybertron’s thumb.

It isn’t until that they see the news that Detroit was saved from an “unspecified natural disaster” by a group of similar-looking robots do they begin to worry.

Pride month in Griffin Rock.

No i will take no other answer here because while yes Griffin Rock is a small island/town, they also see far crazy shit and have way advanced technology as of compared to the rest of the world in the aligned continuity. You cannot tell me that they'd accept alien robots, constant technological disasters, their island LITERALLY TELEPORTING, and more then proceed to be homophobic transphobic and more.

Now, would it operate the same as pride does on the mainland? Oh hell no it has its own Griffin Rock touch with the usual special technology going wrong and being the most chaotic island in the aligned continuity. But I think that the spirit would remain similar.

At some point... isolation ia a good thing in nature, as it allows a special brand of variety to bloom where the mainland would stifle it.

The Mavericks of Ashley

When I was writing my canceled Beyond the Battle Network Line series, I did create eight Mavericks to with the series. I will draw them out in the future but for now here’s their information.

Armageddon Anaconda A seven-foot Anaconda theme Reploid who was originally made to explore areas that have a high level of radioactive that no life form can handle without dying or getting sick from the dosage and disarm nuclear weapons and stable nuclear power plants too. But Armageddon Anaconda isn’t the kind you want to stick around with when he makes his presence near for he is also known to be a cannibal Reploid. This Anaconda Maverick is known to kill and devour his victims and often times, he’s known just eating a part of his victims and Nityan is one of them after Vile tore her wings off and fed them to his snake friend. He’s is horribly known to have a cold and merciless personality which explains his great friendship with Vile. He only joined Accord’s side just so he can eat more Reploids. Carcass Vulture A Griffin Vulture theme Reploid who was made to find and recover dead bodies of Reploids and humans in natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and crisis made by Maverick crimes. The job took a terrible toll on him, driving him to hate his own kind for murdering innocent lives and he joined Accord’s side to help end the Reploid Race for good. Carcass Vulture is designed to look like a care Taker and he’s known to be a gentleman personality and even going as far as giving his opponents condolences over the deaths of their friends and loves one which, something that makes the Maverick Hunters either flinch or go into rage. Scorch Jabberwocky Based off of the Jabberwocky from Lewis Carol’s poem, “The Jabberwocky” Scorch Jabberwocky was made to help gather data on forest fires to help humans to combat against it easily and to prevent more lives and homes from being lost in the fire. Scorch Jabberwocky starts to question if Reploids truly need free will in order to live and joined Accord’s side while believing that free will is nothing but a burden. Scorch Jabberwocky is known to speak in a poet like sentences and it’s known to drive everyone around him crazy (And his mun too) Echo Orca An Orca theme Reploid, Echo Orca was made to do underwater exploring of sunken ships and caves where humans can’t reach without dying and handle pressure from crushing him. He never got along with Chill Penguin due to Orcas and Penguins being predator and prey and has the habit of hunting and trying to devour him. But he did have high respect for Duff McWhalen but yet always fighting with Metal Shark Player before he was punished. Orca doesn’t talk like a human, he mostly speaks the same way as a normal Orca would and translation has to bed used and he’s know to hunt and kill his victim. Unlike Armageddon Anaconda, he just toys with his prey before killing them. Flash Cheetah A Cheetah theme Reploid, Flash Cheetah was created to outrun poachers and arrest them on the spot to bring them into justice and protect endanger animals from harm. Flash Cheetah developed a strong hatred toward the human race and see them as nothing more than a disgusting mistake made by nature and started killing poachers rather than arresting them on the spot. He joined Accord’s side on one condition that every Reploid is brought back as an animal theme Reploids only. For this reason is that he also developed a hatred toward humanoid Reploids and finds hybrids between humans and animal theme Reploids to be the bane of the Animal Reploid race and even going as far as being open about his hatred toward them and calling X out for having a relationship with Nityan by claiming that her parents deserved to die for tainting the animal Reploid race. Flash Cheetah is build to be incredibly fast and know to even match with Overdrive Ostrich. Quick shot Jackalope A Jackalope theme Reploid, Quick Shot Jackalope never have a scrambled twitchy mind from the start. From the start of his life, he was a kind and respected Border Patrol Officer until the Sigma virus happened and when he was fighting it off, it fried his brain so badly that it turned him into a psychopath who can’t tell the difference between right or wrong, causing him to play judge, jury, and executioner when he comes across a Reploid. He joined Accord’s side in hopes that she can reset him and cure him of his illness and willing to do anything for her without knowing that he’ll be losing his free will in the process. He’s the reason for Nyiem almost getting killed when he rat him out by claiming that he’s the one who almost killed Konnar during the Repliforce crisis when Nyiem made his dragon form notice. It was later cleared by Konnar that it was Double who almost killed him. Quake Zebra A Zebra theme Reploid who was created for handling fracking for oil companies and to move heavy equipments around and thanks to Flash Cheetah, she was convinced to hate the human race for destroying nature for their greed for oil. Quake Zebra is powerful enough to rip out telephone poles and lift the heaviest of rocks over her head and crush anything with her hooves and takes pride in her strength in battle. She uses to have a crush on War Ram from the Repliforce in the past and thought he was killed in The Repliforce Crisis. That is until words got out that he simply just himself in exile. Digital Ferret A ferret theme Reploid who use to work in Maverick Hunter Security before Sigma's uprising happened and she joined his side until she grew bored of Sigma and joined Accord’s side to work for her instead and found the thrill that she is seeking. Her job was to locate and help hunt down New Generation Reploids for Accord’s Chimeras to tear them up and collect their copy chips to bring back. She may be small but yet Digital Ferret is not afraid to go all David and Goliath on any Reploids when it comes to fighting.

The Equinox Festival, also known as the Spring Festival, or Klamenth Falls’ famous Art Festival is a local favorite! As the last patches of ice melt away to welcome a vibrant springtime a number of species put their best foot forward to help with natures process. Quite literally for some, such as the witches, nymphs, elementals, fae, or even grander creatures who have blessed this town with their presence and protection.

While magical creatures prepare for the Equinox celebration and rituals, others are participating in their own way. Downtown opens its doors wide to display their goods while the tattoo parlour and art gallery set up exterior galleries for show and tell as well as selling. For artists, hobbiest, DIYers, and craft fanatics who don’t want to split their share of earnings main street has been closed for the weekend to prop up tables and tents. Magical residents may look to get their slice of the pie by selling their custom potions and elixirs, spell books, jewelry. Local farmers also visit the city to sell fresh produce, flowers, and food trucks are guaranteed to roll in among other well known vendors. Musician’s looking to earn really great cash are encouraged to take a chance atop center stage which can be found at the very end of main streets line of merchants.
