This is going to be an unpopular post probably, hate post even, according to some of you. Yes I am a hater now.

Spoilers, kinda, for the Mandalorian season 3.

I kind of disliked the first episode of the new season. There I said it.

Alright, it is the first episode and sets the tone and story for the rest of the season. But after knowing the other two first episodes, this one falls flat, in. my. opinion. Remember that before you come for me.

And by that I mean the story, the dialogue, the setting, the colors, the cgi … it all feels so … “disneyfied”.

I know mando was always about side quests, and how that plot leads to another, but this episode had like no depth? “Oh I have to go there to get that? Alright!”. Also, I’m sorry, but the cliche catchphrases “Never trust a pirate” made my eyes roll. And I know we love fan service, trust me I do too, but I can’t hear “This is the way” anymore.

I know it’s a “kids show”, and the mouse tries to make merch off of everything, but knowing how good season one and two were, I have to say I am disappointed. Still gonna watch the whole season though.

Poor Din was given this sword and told it meant all this big things, sucks at using it because he was told it meant all these big things. Isn’t allowed to give it away has to basically seriously loose a fight or die to get rid of it. Got kicked out of his family for removing his helmet just because he wanted to save his son. Almost drowns trying to rejoin his family because he got basically sent on a death quest to redeem himself.

But now Bo-Katan can just be the ruler and unite Mandalorians without the dark sabre, remove her helmet but still be part of the covert because she is allowed to walk both worlds or whatever.

Bo-katan’s heresy about seeing a real life Mythosaur makes her Mandalore Jesus and fuck Din Djarin and his struggles I guess.

I watched first two episodes of season 3 of Mandalorian while I did these, all I can say is *spontaneously cries* (about the episodes and these sketches). It’s Unohana’s turn to be Yachiru’s perch. Also of course I used photo references of my beloved Pedro Pascal for both of these sketches, in the spirit of the Mandalorian. This is the way.

I strive, to give Unohana more expressions. She deserves to be in a silly goofy mood and have more varied facial expressions. Im not saying it’s a fault of her character because I understand that it’s probably just how she is, and not every character in Bleach canon is gonna have exaggerated expressions. But this is my house now. This is also very tame, I want to do more tho.

This was originally for a Soul Mates bingo event that I never finished, because of work :/

My prompt was Haki. So, if you’ve ever played OP: Burning Blood and went to Tesoro’s description/stats, it states that he has Haki ability. But never stated which kind. I rolled with that and decided to give him armament Haki. It kinda fits that he wouldn’t rely on it in canon, because he’s so full of himself.

I wanted him to have a little one on one fight with - a certain flamingo themed disaster.
