Absolutely bonkers that people will go to such extreme, and often inhumane and violent, lengths to defend their idea of this imaginary being in the sky. I'm sorry but 90% of religious people, both today and in the past, have completely lost the plot.

#in any other situation this kind of behaviour would have you diagnosed with schizophrenia or psychosis and you would get help for it #but call it God and suddenly it's normal and understandable #thinking about this shit would make me angry but it's also fucking hilarious like???#grown ass people who are so dead serious about their imaginary friend that theyll literally humiliate torture and murder people for him #and the fact that the majority of the world believes in this bullshit and they just go about their daily lives acting like it's so #offensive if someone were to insult this being that they have no proof actually exists #the only things in this world that are above criticism are babies and animals #you can't tell someone that they don't have the right to question criticize or debate something you believe in #grow a fucking backbone and just be comfortable in your own beliefs if you're so confident that they're true #instead of acting like someone is a demon just cuz they don't agree with you
