​ 종잣돈 모으기는 결코 만만치 않은 미션입니다. 대부분이 재테크에 실패하는 이유는 이 종잣돈 모으는 데 실패하기 때문입니다.

​

 100만원을 모으는 것은 누구나 쉽게 할 수 있습니다. 200만원, 300만원을 모으는 것도 쉽습니다. 하지만 1,000만원 만드는 것은 그리 녹록지 않습니다. 1,000만원을 모으려면 한 달에 100만원씩 모아도 거의 1년을 모아야 하는 돈입니다.

 맞벌이부부나 고액연봉자에겐 쉬운 미션이겠지만, 일반 미혼 월급쟁이가 1년에 1,000만원 이상 모으려면 꽤 높은 인내심과 통제력이 요구됩니다. 처음 한 두달은 허리띠 졸라매기에 성공하지만 돈이 모이는 속도는 더디기만 하고, 그 기간이 길어지면 길어질수록 쉽게 지치기 마련입니다.

 하물며 1억원 정도 되는 큰 종잣돈 만들기란 결코 쉽지 않은 미션입니다!

 본격적인 종잣돈 모으기 전에 꼭 명심해야 할 것이 하나 있습니다.이 세상 어디에도 쉽게 만든 종잣돈은 없다는 사실입니다. 종잣돈은 추운 겨울을 이겨내고 이른 봄에 피는 매화처럼 자신과의 싸움에서 치열하게 승리해서 얻은 것일 때 비로소 그 가치를 높일 수 있습니다.

 직장에 취직을 하여 첫 사회생활을 시작하는 사람들이 흔히 하는 실수가 있습니다. 바로 돈을 버느 족족 써버리는 것입니다. 갑작스럽게 수입이 생기게 되면 그동안 사지 못했던 무언가를 사고 싶다는 욕심이 생기는 것이 사실입니다.

 하지만 사회생활을 시작했을 때는 최초의 종잣돈을 만드는 것이 무엇보다 중요합니다! 종잣돈은 눈덩이 같아서 처음 뭉치기가 가장 어려운 특성이 있습니다. 똑같은 수입이라고 하더라도 누가 먼저 1,000만원을 모으느냐가 향후 3,000만원, 5,000만원, 1억원 등의 종잣돈을 만드느냐를 결정합니다.

 또한 일단 일정한 액수의 목돈이 마련돼야 같은 곳에 투자해도 레버리지효과를 볼 수 있고, 예금, 주식, 채권, 부동산 등으로 투자의 폭을 넓힐 수 있기 때문에‘첫 목돈 만들기’는 무엇보다 중요합니다.​

 ※ 수입보다는 지출이 적은 현금흐름 시스템

​ – 최초 1,000만원을 모으기 위해서는 수입보다 지출이 적은 현금흐름의 선순환 구조가 전제되어야 하고, 사회초년생의 수입을 감안할 때 이와 같은 시스템이 1년 이상 꾸준히 유지되어야 달성 가능합니다.

 ※ 올바른 저축습관

 – ‘세 살 버릇 여든까지 간다’는 속담처럼, 재테크를 처음 시작했을 때 얼마나 올바른 저축습관을 다져놓느냐가 향후 재테크의 성패를 좌우한다고 할 수 있고, 1,000만원이란 종잣돈을 마련하는 것은 올바른 저축습관을 몸에 익히는 과정이라고 볼 수 있습니다.

    종잣돈 만드는 데는 절약이 최고!

​

 종잣돗 모으기에는 뭐니뭐니해도 절약이 최고의 방법입니다. 특히 아직 종잣돈이 마련되지 않은 재테크 초보일수록 절약이 주는 재테크효과는 훨씬 크기 마련입니다.

​

 만약 한 달에 10만원만 절약할 수 있다면, 연간 추가로 얻을 수 있는 수익은 120만원이 됩니다. 1억원이라는 종잣돈을 가진 사람이 절약을 통해 추가로 120만원이라는 수익을 얻었을 때, 이 효과를 수익율로 환산하면 1.2%에 불과합니다.

 반면 현재 투자금액이 1,000만원에 불과한 사람이라면 절약을 통해 120만원의 추가 수익을 얻을 경우 그 효과는 12%에 달합니다.

​

 ※ 지출의 순서를 가져라

 – 절약이 최고의 재테크라고 하지만 돈은 결국 소비하고 소유하기 위해서 버는 것인 만큼 최소한의 지출은 불가피하기 마련입니다. ​이때 중요한 것이 지출의 순서입니다. 같은 돈을 지출하더라도 미래에 더 큰 열매로 돌아오는 지출(보장, 연금 준비, 자기계발, 건강생활 투자)도 있고, 지출하고 나면 흔적 없이 사라지는 지출(의식주 해결) 등 다양한 지출이 있습니다. 지출을 따져보고 우선순위를 적용하면 가장 후순위에 자리하는 낭비성 지출을 발견할 수 있습니다.

 ※ 관성의 법칙

 – 지출에는 ‘관성의 법칙’이 작용하기 때문에 변함없이 해왔던 대로 지출하려는 속성이 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 소비습관과 관성을 바꾸기란 정말 어렵습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 부자의 꿈을 세우고, 절약과 절제를 습관으로 만들고, 내 손 안의 돈을 내 의지대로 구조정해야 합니다. 줄일 수 있는 것은 최대한 줄여야 종잣돈을 모을 수 있습니다.

    종잣돈은 수익률보다는 안정성!

     투자를 하는 데 있어 많은 사람들이 가장 중요하게 생각하는 것이 바로 수익률입니다. 수익률이 중요하다는 사실에는 반론의 여지가 없지만, 적어도 종잣돈을 마련하기 전까지는 수익률보다는 안전성과 저장성이 뒤어난 상품에 돈을 묶어두는 것이 좋습니다.

     ‘부자가 되겠다’ 또는 ‘돈을 모으겠다’는 식의 막연한 생각으로는 재테크에 성공하기 어려운 시대입니다. 단계별로 분명한 목표를 세우고 그에 알맞는 투자 방법을 택해 차근차근 실행하는 것만이 재테크의 성공할 수 있는 유일하면서도 가장 빠른 길입니다.

 – 종잣돈 모으기 계획을 세울 때는 철저히 자기 여건을 고려해야 합니다. 예를 들어 시기별로 지출 규모나 재산 규모가 달라질 수 밖에 없습니다. 20대 미혼 남성과 입시생 자녀를 둔 학부모 가정의 지출 규모가 같을 수는 없을 테니까요.​ 정기적인 월급을 받는 직장인과 수입이 불규칙적인 자영업자가 똑같이 계획을 세운다면, 이는 매우 비효율적일 확률이 높습니다.

Subie Sunday’s -The Blue WRX STI driven by Mark Jager @jagerracing had some challenges going into the competition at GTA FINALS. Oddly didn’t spend much time on track and their first DNF in history, it was unfortunate that we weren’t able to see this Race Car in its full potential. VIP Class -Lol. Well not really, but not new to Time Attack, and surely always a sight to see is Jase Sharek and his always progressing Mercedes C63. This time around he had an awesome Buff Stance incorporating Fender Flares and a Non Staggered BBS 18x12 setup drenched in Pirelli Slicks. Following behind him on Grid before a session is Roy Narvaez in his Dodge Viper that also was slicked down for the GTA FINALS. Seeing these guys on any track day is a spectacle, but more so that they continue to drive and compete in Time Attack through the years!
