as sad as I am to see the show end up the way it did, I saw this all coming back in season 3 and that was half the reason I stopped watching all together. From the assault plot (which enrages me no matter what show or writing does that shit), to them making Lila basically the carbon copy of her shitty ass mom, with her kidnapping a kid the same way she was; it was just awful and I couldn’t bring myself to watch it.

I always felt so weird that I couldn’t stomach any of the new writing the way everyone else could, but seeing everyone finally realize that it wasn’t just a “choice” but what it is, TERRIBLE WRITING, highkey healed a part of me and my feelings towards that show.

SORRY IF THIS IS WEIRD AND PERSONAL but it felt wrong of me to just post this and not say something, esp with how much this show has been apart of my work and this blog. Like it means something to me and it would be disingenuous to pretend it doesn’t!
